Denis Villeneuve is excited to make #DuneMessiah
"The appetite is absolutely intact ... I still want to go back to Arrakis"
He reiterates it will be his final Dune film
"After that, it would become unhealthy"

I can already see the third book and the other books being made into movies or the books after the first two being made into a 4 season series.

That's just what people in Hollywood wanted to know amidst utter destruction and lose of homes, some lives (so far), lively hoods, and even recorded history -- what Yen may direct. Brilliant.

You're right, but it's 'Hollywood', and besides, I don't think the people who work in Hollywood, except for the set workers, care about the loss of the homes of famous stars or the postponement of the shooting of their TV shows and movies. Unfortunately, they won't care about the burning of historical places. They will only lose a few million or billion dollars.

I hope that the burned places will be repaired soon after the fire is over.

Last I checked, humans lived there. I think? Someone fact-check me. Probably just a Q-Anon conspiracy theory.
Yes, there has been no news of death there yet. I hope not, but only if a Hollywood star or stars die there, only then will all of Hollywood start to care about it.

Unlike some franchises the John Wick people seem to know very well on which characters and stories people would like to see in their spin-offs. Donnie Yen after Ballerina and the tv shows are all great ideas when continuing the brand.

Colman Domingo has been cast as game show host Richard Killian in Edgar Wright's upcoming adaptation of Stephen King's 'The Running Man.'

That's just utter nonsense. CA is expensive to live in and when the productions pause (some causes may be over, because sets and tape/digital recordings lost), this affects everybody in the areas hit and adjacent ones. Hollywood productions are not just made of set builders, you have people who make their livings to afford to live there doing many many jobs, editors, cinematographers, musicians (who probably lost, in some cases, all their instruments *), stuntmen, animators, special effects people (some probably lost all their supplies), make up, hairstylists, assistants, and so so many more. Then you have an whole industry around the place and in the place built to service Hollywood, including basics at stores supplying every day needs, restaurants, mechanics, medical personnel in various fields, housekeepers, lawn maintenance, etc.

* = The late famous sessions player Emil Richards -- played on thousands of film and televisions scores -- has a storage warehouse of his percussion instruments, many super rare, some one of a kind. If this was lost, it would be a terrible lose -- for example.

If they insist. Who gets to portray Clara Bow's role?

I'm not that familiar with American states and cities, sorry. But I understand what you mean. Then all of America and Hollywood will face a big hardship like the Covid. Get well soon to all American citizens in the forum.

You're not getting it.

It's not about states or cities.

You don't need to be familiar with American geography to understand that people of all walks of life are having their very existence destroyed, not just the ruling elite class who live there and their multi-million dollar mansions. Whether it's in Hollywood or any other city or small town is irrelevant. It's just fucking people.

And don't blame it on Google Translate, either - this is not a language barrier disconnect problem. This is a you problem.

Yes, I may not understand, but there is no need to be so hard on me. Someone who is not American and does not live in America cannot understand the seriousness of the situation.

I understand that people lost their jobs. There were forest fires in my country, people's houses and animals in towns burned. And then there was an earthquake 2 years ago that affected almost 10 of our cities. But in our country, it was not the historical places that were destroyed. People who were struggling to survive under the collapsed buildings were talked about. People were sad and could not eat or drink for almost a month. Look, the reason I understand this is that we do not have an industry that works like Hollywood, we do not have any animators like Hollywood, or special effects artists, and if there are, it is not known nationwide. In our country, a big house burning down for a rich person definitely does not make him lose money. Because he probably has a few more.

Look, Turks don't value property and possessions very much. They mostly value people. If there are no deaths in such events, they only get upset about burning forests and people who lose their jobs and animals. They don't care about historical places and the burning of the houses of the rich.
