If there are no deaths in such events, they only get upset about burning forests and people who lose their jobs and animals. They don't care about historical places and the burning of the houses of the rich.
It's been reported that at least 10 people have lost their lives and most officials there agree the body count hasn't ended. It's not just about "possessions".
