I get it, but for me the convience of e-books outweighs any of the positives of physical books.I loathe the things no matter the book, but I'm a Luddite that way.

What the hell are "ass arms"?!People must have some short ass arms.
I'd tell you, but this is a family forum. What the hell are "ass arms"?!

Not if I'm posting here.I'd tell you, but this is a family forum.
I prefer digital novel and comics over the physical versions. Reference books or things like technical manuals for TV shows, I prefer the real deal.
...is Jimmy Canadian?
Samuel Cogley and myself could not disagree more. Real books don't crash, and you cannot rip a bad e-book in two without damaging your Nooky-device.I get it, but for me the convience of e-books outweighs any of the positives of physical books.
A lot of the stores will let you download the stuff you buy, so if you had a big enough storage device you could always download everything if you're worried about stuff being pulled off your devices.I’ve largely gone digital with everything. I know, I know. I’m only buying a license for these things and they can be pulled at any point. Honestly, that mindset has actually made me more discerning in my purchases. It is not often any longer that I buy things right away. I try to wait until they go on sale. Spending $5 on a 4K movie is a lot more palatable to me than spending $30. And no, the quality isn’t as good but with little time to actually enjoy these things like I did a decade ago, it suits my needs.
Not as frequently but some (scored good deals on some Mr. Terrific trades just the other day). I simply don’t have the room for physical copies anymore and since I first started using Comixology I think I’ve saved at least 60% if not more going back to 2011. But while I still get titles, I have cut back considerably since Amazon took over (not just because of Amazon, but in significant part). I do miss the old days, not only for reading the comics but also the browsing experience. Pre-Amazon was FAR easier to use. Now it’s super clunky and slow (and my computer is no slouch—seems like the Amazon site itself has trouble handling the online shopping interface—no such issues with anything else at Amazon.I'm not sure if Amazon is still offering those really great sales that Comixology used to have.
Comixology is part of Kindle now, and Kindle allows you to download your purchases onto your devices. I've got the Farscape Omnibus downloaded onto both tablet and phone right now.Comixology has stopped allowing this. Amazon has destroyed the fun of the online comic experience for me, but getting rid of the app and not allowing downloads of material you purchase. This had been allowed by most publishers except the big 2 prior to a year or two ago. Coincidentally, I haven't purchased a comic since.

This x 1000.I would rather have my comics separated from my books
I get that. Kindle does let you pick if you only want to see your books, or your comics, but that's probably not quite you mean.I get that that might work for some, but I would rather have my comics separated from my books. My wife and kids use my account for books--considering I'm the one usually buying them and they are not particularly interested in comics.

My Kindle's pretty old. 2015.That's weird, I had just assumed they all had that option.
