Whatever happened to Kes?

I listed a lot of information given to us by the show that indicates she is not.

All circumstantial. The only thing we know for certain is that she had a 9 year lifespan, and she was already 6 by the time of Fury. Let me know the next time you see her alive. Until then I’ll assume she’s dead.

Kes only had a 9 year lifespan. It’s right there in the show. Your denial is irrelevant. The character is dead until the writers decide she isn’t. And that ain’t happening, because Lien will not be acting again.
Your comment is irrelevant if any.

As I see it, you're only out to provoke, just like you did in that thread about Tasha Yar in the TNG forum which you managed to get closed.

I'm not gonna get into any truobles with the moderators because of your provocations. This discussion is over.

Did we see her die? No. In "Fury," Kes is now 6 years old. At the end of the episode, she was on her way home to Ocampa in her supped-up alien shuttle. Susperia's Ocampan faction were teenagers. Voyager ended in 2001, 23 years ago, so she'd be anywhere from 7 to 8 years old as of Voyager's homecoming or about 30 years old if she were to pop up around the time frame of PIC S3. Remember that she could de-age herself in "Fury," even if just temporary, plus she had all of those cosmic powers, plus the Susperia factor. There's also "creative writing" to factor in. In summary, Ke's fate is unknown.

I do like the idea of her coming home around the time of the underground city running out of power, helping her people to surface and start again, perhaps with the help of Susperia and the teenage Ocampans.

Personally I find her going home to her boring planet a waste of a good character. Due to her will to explore and learn, she belongs in the Alpha Quadrant together with her friends on Voyager. That was what she wanted when she joined the crew and that's what she should be doing.

Tanis could take care of the Ocampa planet.

Why would her returning home to become the leader of her people and lead them out into the sunlight be a waste? Yeah, she could go back tot he AQ, but the Voyager crew has dispersed.
Voyager's turned into a museum, replaced with the Voyager-A.
Admiral Janeway's flying a desk on Earth.
Captain Chakotay's on his 2nd command, Voyager-A.
Tuvok is doing black ops for Starfleet.
Harry, we'll find out before Lower Decks ends.
Tom is drifting around Starfleet ships and bases, doing Voyager DQ PR stuff.
B'Elanna - we haven't heard what she's been up to since Voyager's homecoming.
The Doctor - last seen with Admiral Chakotay and Captain Chakotay, probably Chakotay's Doc on Voyager-A.
Neelix - left behind on the Talaxian colony with his new-found family.
Kes - last seen in "Fury," departing for Ocampa.
Seven - last seen in command of the Enterprise-G in the Picard finale.
Tanis could take care of the Ocampa planet.
I don't think he cares.

By your own argument, she's not dead, because we didn't see her die nor a corpse.

It doesn’t matter what I think. Because I never said with 100% certainty that Kes was dead. I said that I assumed she was dead based on the evidence presented in the show. The evidence you stated was circumstantial because there was no specific indication that Kes’s lifespan was increased. And even if it was and she lived to be 14, she would still be deceased by the time of the TNG-era shows being produced by CBS/Paramount at this time. And since Jennifer Lein will never be reprising her role, the character is effectively dead for all intents and purposes, despite what a biased person like @Lynx wants to think.

I actually forgot about this stupid 9 - years lifespan before you reminded me. I tend to fix it rather quickly in my "Voyager redone", Lunx, now that she didn;t left there.

As for her going to the homeworld, at least I canm use it to make an "Ocampa civilization" for Galactic Civilziations II/III/IV and play as her as their leader.

Recasting is a thing: Savvik, Alexander (twice), Ziyal (twice), Dr. Maddox, Janeway (while filming "Caretaker"), Naimoi, Icheb, the TOS cast (in the movies, again in Disco and SNW)

Why not add Kes to the list?

It is possible. But I doubt the creators are interested in her now. She's too optimistitic, too bright, too cheerful for today.

I doubt it too, but not for the reasons you mention. It's doubtful they'd bring her back because:

1. Nobody is aching to see this character again.

2. Even if they were, recasting the character who was a main character on VOY for many years would defeat the purpose of seeing her again.

3. She's supposed to be dead by this time anyway.

If there was a compelling reason to bring this character back, and being played by the actress that was known for the part, great. If not, there's little reason to do so.

If she comes back, it'll be because:
#1 The producer or writers wanted her back.
#2 They'll just recast.
#3 Supposed to be dead? Speculation.
#4 Jennifer Lein hasn't acted since 2001.

#1 As I said, if there's a compelling reason to do so, great.
#2 Do people want to see the character played by someone other than Lien? I doubt it. So why bother?
#3 Yes, as I have mentioned ad nauseam.
#4 Jennifer Lein will doubtless never act again.

1. Just beause we're in minority doesn;t mean we don;t exist.
2. TOS cast was recast.
3. There's no canon death of Kes. Should could travel forward in time at worst.
