Now with those, Balok and a multitude of other Bulbous-headed aliens from fiction, you can see where a lot of Grey alien inspired abduction stories came from.

Probably not. Aliens or future humans with big craniums, usually bald, way predate the Trek episode both in print media and TV.Now with those, Balok and a multitude of other Bulbous-headed aliens from fiction, you can see where a lot of Grey alien inspired abduction stories came from.
"Multitude of other bulbous-headed aliens from fiction" should cover this.Probably not. Aliens or future humans with big craniums, usually bald, way predate the Trek episode both in print media and TV.
Even the big-headed "Greys" go back to the 1950s, though they weren't referred to by that name. They were staples of UFO "reports."

actually, that is a modified pic I did of the Discovery Talosian to make it look closer to TOS, I did not dislike the Discovery version, but it could have been closer than it wasNow that I'm seeing the comparison, I think they did better with the prosthetics than I originally thought. But it's still annoying that it went completely over their heads to cast a woman as the Keeper.
And no more TOS characters in SNW, while we're at it.No more remakes please, write new stories.

I'd love for SNW to do an extended revisit of "The Cage," preferably in a longer format - a two parter would be, um, somewhat appropriate.
They ought to ignore any expectations of a literal retelling, maybe frame the events as relevant to some other storyline. It's not like Trek never revisits old stories - "Flashback" and "Trials and Tribbleations" come to mind.
No. "The Cage" is a classic and is just fine as it is. Plus, we don't need more remakes.Would a remake of the Cage work? I would love to see how Anson Mount version of Pike handles the Talosians.
I have often thought it would be interesting for them to do a shot-for-shot reshoot of the "future" scenes from "All Good Things..." using the actors as they are today. No changes, no 'enhancements,' no nothing. Just redo the scenes exactly as they were, but with actors who have actually aged. Now that I would be interested in seeing.Absolutely.
As a different sort of example, "These Are the Voyages..." inserted a holodeck adventure into the events of "The Pegasus."
As another kind of example, "All Good Things..." does an irreconcilable alternate history of events at the time of "Encounter at Farpoint" and makes numerous references to the earlier episode.
