When did Star Trek scare you?

When Enterprise was cancelled in 2005. :wah: :sigh:
Being serious now, I think the first "scary" episodes I saw as a kid was TNG's "The Best of Both Worlds" two-parter and "Conspiracy" with the brain critters.
Conspiracy also did scare me pretty well, especially when the mother parasite thing emerged from the burnt husk of the dead guy.
Which episode was this?
That was “The Bounty”.

I don’t know the exact reason why, but some stuff might be so:
-He’s famous, and smart(well, that’s kind of obvious).
-He came out of the Nexus after quite some time and reappears in the late 24th century. Well, that alone might be interesting to S31.
And more…if any?

Actually, I hadn't thought of that. Starfleet wanting to keep Kirk's body for study because to-and-from the Nexus kind of makes sense.
