Wait, now I’m confused. Does that mean there already was a time period when I could have ordered one of those Fanhome models? It says on the site that “single purchase” will be available from December 2024. So how can they be closed already? Or are you only referring to the subscriptions?

Ah, thank you! That makes more sense. I just hope I won’t miss the actual moment these are available. I’ve been burned on a number of models I would have loved to have ordered back in the Master Replica days. I still hope I will one day get my hands on a Voyager-J that’s not ridiculously overpriced.

By the way, can we acknowledge how superior Fanhome’s product photography is for these new models? These look gorgeous, and I’m not even a fan of some of these ship designs …

Absolutely, they have definitely put more effort into it than Eaglemoss did, the models look pretty spectacular.

The paint jobs also look relatively well aligned with the surface details too. That’s a happy improvement.

There's really only 2 ships I want anymore:
- the USS Emmett Till from the DS9 documentary
- the NSEA Protector from Galaxy Quest

And I have a bad feeling about these...

I think the first 20 are probably a lock, unless things go really badly.

Pausing new subscriptions suggests they've met projections for launch.

I'm so annoyed with myself about missing the window. I signed up to the notified, and my friend at work is sure we subbed together right when it became available.
Hopefully, I don't have to wait till next year before I can sub.

My friend also keeps saying there're interviews with Ben Robinson saying the order and identity of the 20 ships from the Collection is not locked in. If so, the only change I would need is replacing the USS Drexler with the USS Voyager-B.

To anyone who has subscribed to FanHome before - Are the magazines digital, physical, or both?

I just went to the FanHome website to doublecheck payment info, etc. There is a collection tab and it states all of my collected magazines will be displayed there so naturally my curiosity has been peaked?

One thing about Fanhome: if they manage to somehow secure the rights to do a diecast of the Enterprise-A from ST: Beyond, they will make an instance fan outta me!

Hoping we see some new Federation Kelvin-Universe starships come into the line.

I’d settle for a “correct” XL 1701-A from Voyage Home, Final Frontier, TUC and Picard S3. That is still the biggest burn from Eaglemoss ever…imo…

I imagine they'd try and pick examples where the alignments were pretty good for the promotional shots, but then we get that crooked-ass dish Farragut.

Yeah, I said it above, but I can't help feel that they're repeating some of the same mistakes as Eaglemoss.

Corgi are doing the refit, so fingers crossed that does her justice.

Even though there is an odd choice with how they did the saucer assembly, the Corgi TOS Enterprise is still my favorite small diecast model of that ship, so I have high hopes for their refit.
