Spoilers All Things STAR WARS - News, Speculation & Spoilers Thread

Me too, but I would definitely be up for more. Although, I feel like they shouldn't do to many more seasons or if they do at least scale things back to smaller adventures on Tatooine. It's gonna be hard to believe he survived in hiding if he keeps going off and getting involved in all these big interplanetary events, especially if he runs into Vader multiple times.

I'd keep Season 2 to an exploration of the escape network The Way and perhaps have Quinlan Vos arrive on Tatooine looking for potential help and contacts, which would be a somewhat familiar planet to him since he was retconned into being in Mos Espa during the events of Episode I. Obi-Wan and Quinlan can join forces to help others trying to use the escape network and ward off Imperials who think they've uncovered the network and who's involved.

But keep it confined to Tatooine or at least close by in the Outer Rim.

If we get a(nother) live action Quinlan Voss, then I want a live action Asaaj Ventress.
With so many of the animated characters being brought over into live action, I'm kind of surprised we haven't gotten Ventress yet, especially now that they've apparently brought her back to life after Dark Disciple.

As far as a live action Ventress is concerned; I'd certainly love to see it, but it's a tricky one to pull off.
For starters, if they're going to use her it'd better be more than just a cameo, so that means a movie, show, or sub-plot at least partially built around her. Thankfully there's clearly something being set-up for further storytelling on Dathomir, so that seems like an easy way of getting her involved with the whole Thrawn situation, one way or another.

Secondly there's the casting, which isn't so easy. Probably the best fan casting suggestion I've seen for the role thus far is probably Dichen Lachman. She has the striking features, the willowy build, and the acting chops (also I'm pretty sure the main casting director of the live-action shows also worked on 'Agents of SHIELD', so Lachman wouldn't be the first AoS alumni to show up.) Not sure she can quite do the voice though. Ventress has a very distinctive tone that manages to sound both velvety smooth, and have a definite rasp to it. Honestly I don't think Nika Futterman gets enough credit for the surprisingly subtle vocal performance.

Already been done . . . if one counts the Disney park rides.

The theme parks have some good costumes and makeup for the actors and workers, but yeah, the makeup you run into at Galaxy's Edge isn't necessarily my idea of how the live action streaming version should look.

Don't even care about that. It's lack off access and lack of interest in that particular aspect of entertainment that I take issue with.

Not trying to make a big deal out of it, just saying why I don't count something like a theme park in regards to live-action representation.

I've never even been to Galaxy's Edge nor have had any interest to go. Theme parks are just overpriced, overhyped ways to milk a fanbase's wallets and pocketbooks and sell specific merchandise you can't get anywhere else. The worst of the SW series and films has given me more lasting satisfaction.

I've no interest in the parks either per see (never been, never going to go.) Nevertheless they have executed on what a live action Hondo would look like (and still voiced by Jim Cummings no less!), and honestly, the results are probably what they'd go with if they ever were to use him in a show or movie, at least in terms of design.

"So Kathleen calls me up and says 'Ewan, we've got some great ideas. This Inquisitor shows up at your hut, and he's about to kill you, but, bam! Reva decapitates him, and saves your butt. Most of the rest of the season is a flashback she tells you over tea. See, she felt guilty about working for the Empire all those years, but Force meditation leads her to meet up with Ahsoka, who tells her that the root cause of the problem was the toxic masculinity of the Jedi Order they and Anakin all grew up in. This makes her feel a bit better, but she's still feeling uneasy, so Ahsoka links her up with another troubled soul, Jar-Jar Binks, who blames himself for nominating Palpatine for emergency powers, until Reva points out to him the real problem was the toxic masculinity of the Old Republic Senate. So she and Jar-Jar pal around the galaxy for a while, having wacky adventures, and that brings her story up to date.

'Reva tells Obi she wishes she could undertake the Jedi Master trials, but Obi observes the real Force Mastery was the friends she's made along the way. So, Reva decides to investigate some rumors the Inquisitors had about a place called Exegol, and she finds a Sith Temple to investigate. She finds and defeats an ancient Sith ghost there, but blacks out, and when she comes to, Rey's there! Somehow, because Dark Side magic and all, time has no meaning in this temple, and she slept for several decades without aging or anything, so now she can help out Rey as a distinguished advisor to her new Jedi Order in that movie.'

It'll be the best season of Obi-Wan Kenobi ever!'"

Well, Hondo's a robot, not a cast member. He might be played by an actor in the video they use when the robot isn't working, I don't know.

I would love for it to be confined to the Outer Rim. I think attempting to save Jedi, and then realize that some can't be saved would be an interesting story.
