I'd completely forgotten the Xindi appearances in DSC and PRO.

My answer to the question is "If there's a valid story reason." But not just for the sake of "here's a Xindi, purely for the sake of continuity porn."

I mean it would be nice if the Xindi were in another trek. Just to confirm the whole Enterprise show wasn't just a holodeck program.
Xindi Reptilians were in Prodigy, while Insectoids were in Discovery. The Xindi were also mentioned in Star Trek Beyond.

Xindi Reptilians were in Prodigy
aka the 24th century.
Insectoids were in Discovery
aka the 32nd century.

A mention is not the same as being seen. And they were never seen in Beyond's idea of the 23rd century.

One would think that considering that Pike's era is the closest to Archer's, it would feature Xindi more prominently.

Perhaps you missed the part where I was responding to PatB1974, who was saying it'd be nice to see the Xindi in something outside of Enterprise? The century they appear is irrelevant. The fact they appeared outside of Enterprise is the relevant peice of information.

I still haven't watched Lower Decks, or Discovery or Prodigy. I would never bash them, but they just weren't my cup of tea. I guess I'm set in my old school ways.

They're all very different shows, and excellent in their own ways. How do you know if something is your cup of tea without tasting it? Heck, I used to think I wouldn't like actual tea; now I have it every day.

I wouldnt mind seeing something on earth showing the anniversary of the first alien attack on earth from the xindi.
That was in March of 2153. Assuming that season 3 will take place at least partially in 2260, the 107th anniversary seems an odd year to highlight.

I forget where this was suggested, be it a random YT video or some fanfic but I liked the idea that the Xindi - immediately after the end of S3 of Enterprise, are so ashamed of what they did and nearly did to Earth. Their shame differs by species - the Primates and Arboreals feel guilt, the Insectoids are more ashamed that they were duped. But collectively this causes them to retreat into their borders, and while not hostile or unwelcoming to visitors, and while maintaining contact with the Federadtion, they keep themselves to themselves for the next 100 years or more.

I find it kind of ethnocentric to think their motivations have to be about us, instead of about themselves. They've got a whole new homeworld to colonize and build a civilization on; that could easily preoccupy them for generations. Not to mention the simple fact built into season 3's premise, that Xindi space is very far away. That alone is enough to explain why we haven't seen them in the historically later shows, which is no doubt why ENT's writers established it in the first place.

I don't really have an opinion. I wish they had some kind of appearance in Season 4 of Enterprise. Part of me wishes that if the Romulan War was a multi year conflict that the Xindi would have made one appearance coming to an Earth ship's aid or something.
