Thank you, from both of you. My day has seen a variety of ups and downs over the past decade or so, but this year I really do feel an inner sense of peace. I can't fully explain it yet, but I'm still grateful anyway.

Was able to log into some accounts that I needed to via my mom's phone. As a temporary measure, as my old phone is getting long in the tooth.
MY HOTEL ROOM IN TORONTO HAS A SAFE 
Despite little sleep and having several health conditions I was able to mop my bedroom floor, bathe (been lagging in that area 
) and keep my home appt. to get my blood drawn. I am going to go and sit outside and enjoy my iced coffee.

Successfully hauled our RV for only the second time
Things have been especially bad lately. One bright spot has been the help my mom and I have gotten from volunteers who have helped with our flooded house. A couple of companies came by and quoted $10,000 and $18,000 to clean out the flooded appliances, furniture, carpets and memories and throw them on a junk pile on the curb and then remove the drywall from the house. This group of volunteers did it for free.
A second group (also for free) came in and sprayed around the gutted house for mold. One of the people told me that a service like that usually costs around $30,000. They have been great.

The dog we found yesterday--was running around, playing, but nearly got hit by cars on the road--no tag, no collar--and no one around us recognized her, she spent the night in our garage. This morning, a neighbor told another neighbor, etc and by noon the pet parents had been found. Yay! A nice couple with a baby boy. The husband swore he was going straight to the store to get a collar and tag. Mission Accomplished.
My joycons arrived home today. Got them charged up and tested them. So far, so good.

I received a letter and some swag from my favorite sister. She sent me some goodies from our old high school ( it was her 50th reunion) and also from our university. I hate living so far away from her.
Hearing how my ex who just loved me because of my money and I did everything for her is getting the karma she deserves is sooooo satisfying
Had a full day of work.
I got some money back from my taxes
