I always liked Nurse Ogawa. She was a great and welcome presence in Sick Bay. Patti wasn't given a great deal, but she did well with what she was given.

Lots of fan stuff. I'll have to see if I still have her 2001 plans some place. Very sad.
Mr. Scott's Guide was one of my favorite things ever.

Her books were a massive part of my childhood, I loved them to bits. I popped when I spotted a tiny reference in shield terminology from Mr. Scott's Guide to the Enterprise on a display screen in Star Trek Into Darkness. I also loved more recently reading an old interview where she talked about her visit to the classic movie sets just after STIV wrapped revealing that the bar McCoy visits in III was a re-dress of sickbay which I somehow never spotted before. And that the dining booths in Mr Scott's Guide were actually part of the sets, presumably a holdover from Phase II but never seen.I remember buying and reading Mr. Scott's Guide to the Enterprise back in the day. Devoured the thing. Fabulous piece of work. Quite enjoyed The Worlds of the Federation, and the Star Trek: The Next Generation Technical Journal as well. I'm not really a Treknology guy, but all of those reached me.
Thank you and RIP.

Lora Johnson, best known to Trek fans as the author of the seminal Mr Scott's Guide to the Enterprise, has passed, aged 64.
Lovely tribute from Larry.
I hadn't realised he'd been in Voyager. But for some reason I remember him clearly from DS9. By weird coincidence Way of The Warrior is my next episode to watch.Obi Ndefo who played on DS9 and Voyager has passed away aged 51. R.I.P.
