Or, apply a universal morality and find the court to try her.

Federation court would be fine. Not like they are going to execute her. Probably send her to New Zealand for 18 months. A month for every billion people she either killed or had killed.

I am at a loss for words for basically executing judgement over something they had no jurisdiction over.

Nice bait language with "executing". Trying to rile people up. If she's a criminal and has no way to be sent back, would you just hold her indefinitely? That's just a life sentence without trial.

I'm not sure they'd be able to find any evidence to prove she'd done anything wrong. Not in the 23rd century anyway.

"Bait language?" The fuck, dude?

Yes, I would hold her indefinitely if I determined that was the best way to keep her from committing more crimes under my jurisdiction.

At this point, I'm just in it for Garrett and the early half of the 24th century.

I've never liked the Mirror Georgiou and I've often questioned why they made her into such a prominent figure.

Best I can figure is they made the horrible mistake of killing Prime Georgiou, realized their mistake and just how fucking awesome Michelle Yeoh is. They decided to keep the Space Hitler version around simply because they liked Yeoh.

Maybe, hopefully, Mirror Georgiou will die in some vaguely heroic and honorable way, and gain just the slightest bit of redemption.

"Your honour, she killed and ate Saru."

"But Saru's right next to you."

"Well... not this Saru. One from another universe. You just have to take my word on that and stuff."

You can't apply real world laws to this one of fiction.

Hot Take: Maybe arguing about imaginary laws and imaginary morality in an imaginary setting is kind of missing the point?

"Mirror" Georgiou should have never existed in the first place. Or, at the very least, never made it past season one. The character's existence is entirely a product of poor writing, a sheer lack of perspective, and Kurtzman's seemingly constant need to reenact the Steve Buscemi meme.

Because it pisses on the graves of a lot of people, around the world.

So THAT'S why I'm seeing the marches, protests and boycotts of the show. Well that explains that!

Joking aside, there's a thing called context that some people seem to be missing when discussing Georgiou and her upbringing that doesn't exist as if she grew up on our earth. There's no direct parallel, try as some might just so that they have something to be angry about.

Exactly. I'm just not sure why the constant draw on real world parallels because she isn't from our real world. What laws apply to the Mirror Universe from our universe?

And we've never had shows about murderers, villains or dictators?

It does matter unless universal morality is at play.
