Reminds me of the old Jekyl and Hyde movie where the guy takes the serum,stumbles around a bit and then falls offscreen to emerge fully transformed.

The way this and previous seasons went,this show could be renamed Star Trek :Hokum.

I the issue I have is that's not how DNA works. Turning someone Vulcan would not suddenly make them logical and able to supress their emotions. I had the same issue with Charades last season with Spock suddenly acting the way he did.

1. Clearly, there's more than DNA involved (I'm reminded of a fun, if rather sexist, short story, "The Procrustean Petard," that was one of Marshak & Culbreath's more readable works).

2. It appears that we have a comedy episode on our hands, so (as with LD) Rule of Funny applies.
