The Action Figure and Toy Collecting and Discussion Thread!

If I've been informed correctly (again, I don't collect SW myself), most if not all the Cantina aliens were done, but very few if any human characters. Because, well, human looking action figures aren't as interesting to kids and casual collectors as the aliens.

A whole lot have been turned into action figures - most, even - but yeah, a lot of the background humans in spacesuits and civilian costumes have yet to be made by an official license holder.
Again, I have a ton of Star Wars figures and figured many backgrounders had been done, but this seems to be extremely hyped for reasons. Interesting. Always fascinating to see what gets people's excitement going.

To me, $500 is too much for that cantina playset as it doesn't even have features such as lights and sounds.
I'll just go build my own cantina playset. Uh, with blackjack, or something.
Unfortunately, it seems that the Tonnika sisters aren't going to be released separately from this.

For those actually interested, the campaign to back it is ongoing, though the traction is not great. So, while I don't plan on backing it because the cantina is not of interest to me (nor most of the characters) I thought I would share it here in case some collectors are willing to back it.

That explains my fiber delays…

Nice doggy!

They did manage to hit the backing threshold, and might hit the first tier.

It just did. The Greedo figure has been backed with the number crossing 11,000.
Backed with like 14k. So, this will be interesting collecting time for those who are waiting on this and the Ghost.

Meanwhile, I just found two Dark Troopers at Walmart so I'm feeling pretty good about my action figures :)

That looks better to me.
Hazlab’s is more Blade Runner.

Have some crumpets

A nice visit
