Unfortunately, they announced on social media that the announcement will be delayed and have not given a new announcement date. They will still be streaming on May 4th.

The stream was today. They moved it up 24 hours the other day.

Thank you. Don't normally watch but the pilot 4 pack, as well as the new playset reveal are pretty nice.

McDonald's needs to totally license this as a toy line.

Upon seeing this thread, and then searching to see if I'd already posted in here, I was surprised to see no results. So anyway, here's my story about this kind of thing...

My family was never rich growing up, but I did have some action figures and related toys as a kid. It was mostly normal pop-culture 1990s stuff though, like Power Rangers, Ninja Turtles, He-Man, etc. But back then, I just opened and played with them as any other child would - the concept of preserving or "collecting" them never entered my mind. Fast forward to now, and I don't really buy figures on a regular basis anymore. However, I did make two notable exceptions last year: Hot Toys' version of Doc Brown from the original Back to the Future, and a company called Mezco's 12-inch design of Eric Draven from The Crow. The former ran me about $300, which I'd never spent on a single figure at the time (and don't plan on repeating any time soon). The latter was only about $125, a tremendous relief by comparison. Here's some pics; I hope you like them.

Yea, Hot Toys usually make a very good product. I've got an Endgame Captain America from them that I'm very happy with.

I've also got a very good Man with No Name from Sideshow Collectibles, and a Commander Shepard from ThreeZero in the same 1/6th scale.

Mezco does make a very good product. I've got one of their 1/12th Spock figures that impressed me with with its detail, dispite its size. I've put it with a much cheaper Kirk figure of similar scale in my little shrine to TOS.

I'm also very pleased with my set of Luke and Vader from Hasbro's Hyperreal series. They also get their own little shrine.

New Toy Ventures episode, just in time for the theatrical release of Furiosa, goes into Tonka's Mad Max-inspired STEEL MONSTERS toy line:

Well, I'm not collecting Star Wars, but this seems dope:

Anybody here signing up for that?

I'll admit that my preference in Star Wars action figure is slanted but is this a big deal?

It is for Star Wars collectors, especially those collecting the Cantina characters. Because the actresses involved demanded too much money for their likeness rights, Kenner/Hasbro has simply not done them ever, making any Cantina character collection seemingly eternally incomplete.

A VERY big deal. Especially considering that holdups with the likeness rights of the two original Tonnika actors is why we didn't get them until now.

Just out of curiosity, what made the performers change their minds now?

(I’ve seen the original Star Wars more than once, but admittedly have no idea who the characters even are.)

    Obi-Wan: Curious.

Did we have all the other cantina patrons and this was the last hold out?

If I've been informed correctly (again, I don't collect SW myself), most if not all the Cantina aliens were done, but very few if any human characters. Because, well, human looking action figures aren't as interesting to kids and casual collectors as the aliens.

A whole lot have been turned into action figures - most, even - but yeah, a lot of the background humans in spacesuits and civilian costumes have yet to be made by an official license holder.

They're doing a Funko Pop! video gamed called Funko Fusion, with characters from a TON of properties. I think they're all owned by Universal, but I'm not positive.
    Here's the list from Wikipedia:
    Back to The Future
    Battlestar Galactica (original)
    Child's Play
    Five Nights at Freddy's
    Hot Fuzz
    Invincible

    Knight Rider
    M3GAN
    The Mummy
    Nope
    Scott Pilgrim vs The World
    The Thing
    The Umbrella Academy
    Univeral Classic Monsters
    The Walking Dead
    Voltron: Legendary Defender
    Xena: Warrior Princess

    Here's the trailer:
