I'll vote for the old standby, total continuity reboot with Ncuti becoming the new first Doctor. We haven't had that speculated on in a while.

Or we’re left with a head scratcher not knowing if something happened or didn’t happen

Leaving aside that they have no control over that or that anything beyond S2 hasn't even been commissioned, I'm guessing these rumours come from the red-faced ranting white guys on YouTube whose channels I'll have blocked years ago.

As much as I think the barely 19 years old companion idea is cute, I'd like to see a companion who is a bit more mature; like the Doctor flying around with Jackie Tyler (ok, maybe not her) or another Graham.

I just think it's an interesting idea that can use exploring.

I seriously doubt that. He has made it very clear over the years that he has no interest in playing his father's characters in any form.

I wouldn't be surprised of some kind of connection to The Third Doctor but there's no way he's play him outright.
