How would Enterprise have fared during the writers strike?

Smack

Let's say Enterprise didn't get cancelled season 7 would have gone on this year ... How do you guys think it would have played out?

All but three episodes were produced before the beginning of the writers strike and the final unfinished episode was the one what would have tied everything up in a satisfying conclusion. The last episode that ever aired was the beginning of a two-part episode that ends with a "To Be Continued..." as pregnant T'Pol goes into labor two months too early. Will the baby be okay? Do T'Pol and Trip ever get married?

A week later, the studio announces that the show has been canceled and that first of a two-parter will be the series finale.

...

Oh, wait a minute. That's what happened to Las Vegas.

The Xindi/Federation Kemocite mining consortium would have to be jointly defended by Archer and Gralik against some rogue Tholians using a copy of the Defiant's shuttlecraft with a Gorn at the helm using a quantumsubmolecularsingularity bomb.

Or something like that...

They would have produced the same amount of episodes. The season would have just gone a little longer.

The last scene would have been the launching of NCC-1701 with an old Archer meeting a young Kirk.

They could've dusted off a Phase II script and given it an ENT makeover.

Perhaps "Tomorrow and the Stars" but switch the Pearl Harbour setting for NY on 9/11. Archer instead of Kirk finds himself back in time, falling in love with a married woman, who is destined to die that day. A transporter malfunction leaves the NX Captain in a ghostly form for much of the episode, while he faces the moral dilemma of knowing he could save hundreds of people–including the woman he loves– with a knock on effect to modern day events.

That would have made a great episode.

I agree. That would have been a cool story.

They would jump ahead 4 years with the location in the holodeck in Quark's Bar. Cisco would be running a program of the Enterprise showing Archer sacrificing himself to save Trip.
