The unnecessary reboot/remake of the week thread

In the near future a Dinosaur theme park has been built inside a domed city on the moon by a Elon Musk stand in character. Visitors are now coming for opening day. Including Jeffrey Goldblum to collect another easy paycheck from the franchise. Thankfully in the crowd is young Mandy Harris. A 12 year girl who has come to the park with her widowed Mom in order to help re-connect after the death of their husband/dad.

Turns out she also has psychic powers and can connect and even control the dino's and is able to get them to stand down from eating all the guest soon as her and her mom comes to terms with their grief and re-connect emotionally which only empowers her physic powers.

The problem with Jurassic Park sequels etc etc is the most fun was always in the original premise. Anything after just is a bit meh. Jurassic World was ok but it was really the force awakens with dinosaurs.

Wasn't there a leaked plan for a second trilogy pre-JW that had the dinosaurs further genetically modified to be as smart as humans, able to talk, and use guns as part of a military force, and then the Dino's take over the world?

The new Shogun trailer is awesome.

I'm really excited for this one.

There's a Sexy Beast series coming to Paramount+ that's a prequel to the movie.

Maybe I can pitch a Kindergarten Cop prequel about John Kimble's days as an LAPD bad ass. No kids, no comedy, just gritty R-rated police action and drama, but still titled Kindergarten Cop.

Lethal Weapon, but it's a pre-Riggs sitcom about the Murtaugh family.
