60 F right now but will go down to 40 F tonight.
Upper 70s today, upper 50s tomorrow. Severe storms Tuesday. Just another topsy-turvy winter in west-central Florida.
This week is going to be a mess in Ottawa-Gatineau.

It won't run or the auger won't turn?Still couldn't get my snowblower running. Think it was the belt maybe came off when I started it the first time. Next thing to look at. Then call warranty to try and get a service appointment covered, but with the snow this weekend I think I'd be out of luck having it repaired before the storm.
It won't run or the auger won't turn?
As for local weather, already got over an inch of snow, and preparing for a lot more starting this afternoon. My blower will be getting a full workout.
From my experience (and this is limited) it sounds like the auger or the interior chute rotator is jammed. Mine will squeal like that if I caught a work (a hazard of my place) and I have to loosen it out of their. The engine cuts out to protect itself. So, what I have had to do, including yesterday, it check both the auger and chute rotator for any gravel chunks stuck between the moving parts and the body. It's two stage. Engine for the wheels runs, but when I press down on the clamp the auger squeels. If I press down all the way it the engine cuts out entirely. I can't tell if the auger is spinning or not as I'm alone. Next time I get out to test I'm bringing my camera to record to find out.
Still sounds like something is jammed in there, somewhere. There are also blots that move the auger that are designed to break before the auger does so you can check those as well. Called shear bolts in this diagram. But, the sound makes me think the chute rotator piece that flings the snow from the auger out of the chute. That's where I have heard that sound before.Yeah that was my first thought. I went through and cleared it all out. That video was after I cleaned it all.
Heh,It was our coldest night/early morning so far this winter, it got down to 33º this morning. It's later in the afternoon now and it's made it up to 52º. According to the Weather Channel's daily forecast, we're supposed to be back up to 72º in a couple weeks, but that's awfully far off, so I don't know if that'll actually happen.
All with the engine off, obviously.
