I'll vote for "The War Without, the War Within" only because it's not quite as bad as the the other three.

I wish I could line up with "The War Without, The War Within", but I just cannot. There's not even an episode there, it's just gears grinding as the writers try desperately to reconcile their trainwreck (and fail). I think "Su'Kal" blows these other three out of the water, merely by virtue of being part of season 3, the first season where the overall arc worked (mostly).

By the gods, the choices left are just horrible. A pair of the worst of season 2 or the stupidity of The Burn's cause? Shaka, when the walls fell...

I'll vote for "Perpetual Infinity" because the title sounds cool.

I'm not surprised a season 2 episode will win, given how terrible the season was. Both episodes are terrible.

My final vote for this series is "Perpetual Infinity". Only because the title sounds ccoler. (Possibly the thinnest reason to save/vote for any episode, but it's all I have to separate it from "The Red Angel".)

This is possibly because neither of these have plots. The events of these episodes don't register as stories, because they are just characters coming to random conclusions, for unjustified reasons, and then taking nonsensical actions in response, and none of it has any coherence at all. It's just a lot of people screaming random dialogue and frantically doing random things.

Not only are these the two worst episodes in all of Star Trek, but they on a shortlist for worst episodes in all of television history.

However, Ethan Peck does look really hot in "The Red Angel", so that'll get my last point.

I always wonder how the Red Angel arc would play out before the change of showrunner, as it originally seemed like it almost had a spiritual theme to it.

Regarding rules...

For the finals, it takes 4 votes to save an episode instead of just the once durung the season by season games. When an episode is saved, all other counts roll back to zero, and we begin a new round. Rinse and repeat until we are left with the final episode not saved, which wins "Most Disliked".

I can say honestly there are no bad episodes of Discovery, just some worse than others.
