PIC S2
Star Trek V The Final Frontier
Happy Days Season 5
Fox News
Manos The Hands of Fate
This idea for a movie about a war between the Go Bots and Transformers I had when I was 10
PIC S3
Point of order... how many hours of Fox News have you actually watched? During a college away semester in another part of the country, I was stuck with two roommates who had Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity on practically every night for three months.

Bloody hell... I really dislike PS1, but I wouldn't pick Fox News above rewatching that season!

At least if I disagree with a program I feel I learned something

Not always with a season of TV I don't like.

If we're going to be more elaborate, here are my expanded rankings:

Peak TNG
First Contact
PIC Season 3
PIC Season 1
Good TNG
PIC Season 2
Mediocre TNG
Star Trek V: The Final Frontier (I'd prefer to stick to TNG & PIC in this list, but since someone else mentioned it... )
TNG Movies that aren't First Contact
Bad TNG
Michael Bay Transformers (at least the first three, I haven't seen anything since)

The food-poisoning I had in 2011 that made me throw up 36 times, lose 20 pounds, and put me in a hospital for four days with my kidneys shut down and an I.V. hooked up into my arm. There were a few times during that ordeal where I thought I was going to die.

FOX News
Very Short Treks

Unranked:
Happy Days --> I saw bits and pieces of it when I was a little kid, never an entire episode, at least that I remember.
Transformers: The Movie (1986) --> I liked it when I was younger, but I have no idea what I'd think of that movie in my 40s.
Manos the Hands of Fate --> Never heard of it in my life.
Gobots --> Haven't seen it since I was... five?

All of PICARD's seasons were equal in story, plot, performance and quality; the same ol' and quite tiresome Borg plots which eventually lead to the fate of planet Earth and the human race. If not the Borg, then have Soong's AI be the mega threat against humanity with a sprinkle of a Romulan subplot which falls flat. Time travel plot leads to Picard's mom's suicide and more Nazi influence horrors which are as boing and less thrilling than once told by a few. These writers can write an allegorical tale besides the Nazi's; the writing was so weak. Besides that I enjoyed the new characters and was invested in their outcome, not too invested in TNG because they had their time and All Good Things... did that for me.

I never needed a where are they now season but it was fine to see them, it's very difficult to rank the seasons because of it's staleness in storytelling so it's even to me.

It was an experiment, I think the cast were too old, it was interesting to at least see how it turned out. I did find season 2 most interesting. Season 3 had a more interesting ending.

I'd of preferred the less use of the tactical alert system used, a little over done, may be voyager's alert as an alternative to too many sounds.

They have a bar called 10 on forward street as an esster egg.

But that bar on the enterprise is called that because that's the section of the ship.
Why not both? Could have been called Guinan's just as easily but she likes the call back.

It's why I have an affinity for certain numbers in my work. Callbacks in my own history.

If you make her have a bar called 10 on forward street that means you have never watched tng.

You are trying to plant Easter eggs by reading a wiki page and failing.

My ranking:
Picard Season 3
Tommy Wiseau's The Room
The films of Zack Snyder
Picard Season 1
The entire filmography of Neil Breen
Picard Season 2

For me, the big difference between Season 3 and the other two was that it seems to have been made by people who actually like Star Trek: The Next Generation. It's well-known that Patrick Stewart never really liked or understood Picard as we saw him on TV, and was the driving force behind turning Movie Picard into the phaser-rifle-toting, dune-buggy-driving action hero that bore only a superficial resemblance to the character we enjoyed on TV for seven years. And his number-one condition for returning to the character was that he not do any of the Star Trek stuff people wanted to see. It would be like if Harrison Ford said "I'll play Indiana Jones, but I'm not wearing that stupid hat or going on any archaeology-related adventures. I want to be an Iowa State Fair cheese judge."

So, even though Picard Season 3 was convoluted and nonsensical and ended with Starfleet Nepo Baby Jack Crusher-Picard getting made an officer and given the job of Captain's Super Special Helper on the newest Starship Enterprise, I liked it because it actually came from a place of genuine affection for TNG and its characters that was rarely in evidence during the film series and completely absent from the first two seasons of Picard.

It can be bad or repeat the same story beats as previously seasons so long as it demonstrates great affection? :vulcan:

Well, I was only expressing my personal feelings about the relative enjoyability of the third season compared to the first two, not making an absolute judgement as to it's quality or telling other people that their opinion should be the same as mine.

Plenty of folks enjoy things that are stupid. I checked all the relevant UN resolutions, EU statutes, the US Constitution, and the Articles of the Federation and nobody seems to have a law against it.

I was curious as to how much weight affection for TNG had for you in your opinion. I am not looking for an objective reality but to learn from your subjective experience.
