Picard is indeed the "Salt" of human kind. Command presence. Humanity. Vulnerable. Quintessentially fair. But Janeway owns my sword. She leads? Even if I doubt, I follow. Silly human heart I guess.Janeway, she's a great captain. Picard is a close second.
I know the feeling. Janeway doesn't top my list because she had the dubious luck of being at the whims of a team of showrunners for whom counting out 38 torpedoes or promoting an ensign were excessively difficult concepts. But she was an amazing character nonetheless. I will enjoy seeing where Prodigy, which seems adeptly run, takes her.Picard is indeed the "Salt" of human kind. Command presence. Humanity. Vulnerable. Freeman seems capable enough, as captains go. She's no Kirk or Picard, who are leaders who are chosen from the legion of Starfleet captains to command the flagship. But she handles her crew of lovable misfits very well.Despite her maybe not being a good captain, I want to give Carol Freeman some love. Love how she has developed in the 4 seasons of the show.
Well, in "The Way of the Warrior", Sisko lost ALL of his hair.Side note... In the Year of Hell, Janeway lost her ponytail :-(. Still MY Captain. But, Darnnit!
