Disco crew and Pike's fate

Discovery McDiscoveryFace

Lieutenant Commander
Red Shirt
Do we think the Disco crew ever find out what happened to Pike in the end - accident and Talos IV in fact?

Burnham read Spock's file but I forget if Talos IV and Pike ending up there would have got classified.

And if Georgiou ends up in S.31 in the past, would that then be in recorded history for the Disco crew to see in the 31st century - or do we think s31 disappears underground at this point in order to continue to exist in a universe that loathes it....

I assume they looked up the fates of everyone they knew.

What happened to Pike and what happened to Georgiou aren't Discovery's stories to tell. That's for Strange New Worlds and Section 31 respectively.

Just like what happened to the Borg wasn't Discovery's story to tell. That was for Picard.

I feel they missed something by not having the crew look up distant relatives or the fates of friends and loved ones (with the exception of Michael and Spock)

As for Georgiou, I suspect her fate would only appear to her friends after stepping into the past from the present. Courtesy of Carl.

Yes, they most likely know Pike's fate. Georgiou, maybe not, given by her nature she lives in the shadows and will work for an organization that specializes in top secret stuff.

I don't think they're asking for it to happen in the show.

In "Wonderlands," the novel covering what Burnham did in the year between when she arrived in the future and when Discovery got there, there's a fun scene where Book gives her some old Starfleet crap he found, since she likes it so much. It's a Christopher Pike Medal of Valor, and she's shocked by finding out that someone she knew just a few months ago (from her perspective) had a medal named after him (Book, of course, had no idea, and was just as surprised by her reaction).
