I'm old, having watched the Oilers since the early 70s and now the Texans, and I've haven't seen anyone since Earl Campbell that has gotten me as excited as CJ Stroud. Before I go to the big spaceship in the sky, I want to see the Texans beat the Cowgirls in the super bowl.

Texans are liable to get to a Super Bowl before the Cowboys. They need to figure out how to lock up OC Bobby Slowik long term. Though he might get a call about the Bears HC position should they be in line to get Caleb Williams or Drake Maye.
I have always liked Ryan Tannehill, so I hope how he's reacted to the last two QB's taken by Tennessee is more that he understand the writing on the wall more clearly this year and not that he's racist...

Bills are really scuffling now. Lost to the Broncos on yet another walk-off FG, after a missed FG that was negated by 12 Bills on the field. I feel like they're gonna do some basic counting exercises today.
That game will live forever in infamy in Denver. It was clearly the wake-up call with an iron boot up the ass that they needed to start at least pretending to be a professional football team. It's nice to see for a change.
Now, my Washington team, on the other hand. They started the season out relatively strong, but now...
The ghost of Dan Snyder apparently haunts them still. That pathetic excuse will probably get them through the rest of this season and likely most of next as they continue to rebuild from his decades-long mismanagement and influence. After that, they'll either need to own the suck or (preferably) jettison it.

What does that mean, "needed to get out of Buffalo"? Does he have an arrest warrant there, or is a wormhole going to open up and swallow the whole city and he got advance notice?
