Nothing specific, but today was a peaceful day.

I was driving along the tollway, Feeling All of Life, kinda down, kinda eh, when what to my wondering eye should appear, but a car with the license plate that read: "MXM WARP".
I smiled, my mood lifted, and things seemed a little better...thank you, again (and again and again and again) Star Trek!

Got a tire fixed for free.
Finally out of newbie prison, I'm so happy! Oh and I got promoted again!
Spent some time with the coolest, sweetest, friendliest black mare on my bike ride today and was able to get in lots pets, pats, and when she requested some butt scratches, I had to oblige. It took me three tries to walk away, the first time I started to walk away she watched me looking really sad that I was leaving her, so I went back and pet her a little more, the second time I made it over to where I left my bike, but she followed me over when I stopped to take a video to show my mom, and I couldn't walk away after that. I pet her for a few more minutes, and it was kinda funny because after I finished petting her she watched me walk over to my bike, and as soon as I put my kick stand up and swung my leg over it she turned and walked away.
Well.......I played 1977's BLACK SUNDAY for my elderly neighbor. She's liked every flick I bring over, but today she basically gave it 50 stars out of five. During the last half-hour she was on the edge of her seat. Luckily I had a spare DVD she could keep. For one shining moment it's almost as if I had an actual purpose in life.
Over the last year or so I've been spending some time with horses and they've become my favorite animal. They're all at some stables and houses I go past on my morning bike rides. Some of them are out with their owners, and some, like the girl from yesterday, are just out in the yard and if they're by the fence I'll stop and say hi and pet, and sometimes they'll come over when they see me.
After writing a whole freaking essay explaining the basics of Star Trek (setting, species, tech, etc.) to a coworker who's a total newbie to the franchise, I've gotten her watching Lower Decks
