I'm thinking I might have to go back to trying to find a job. All of this with the autism diagnosis and possible disability is probably going to take a lot longer than I hoped. I was hoping it was just gonna take a few months, but this is all a lot more complicated than I thought it was. I had I'd be able to go in to the doctor, take a test or something, and then get a diagnosis and be on disability in a few months, if I qualified.

Sadly, it is not a quick process.

I should have known it wouldn't be, it is the government after all, and doing things fast is not their strong suit.

Well, every state runs these things differently so Arizona might be quicker than Washington. But, usually it involves assembling supporting documentation, providing reason why and the state will usually do their own evaluations in some measure or have a doctor review the notes.

All just takes time. I know Washington is famously slow at this process so maybe Arizona is a little better.

As I've mentioned before, contact DES Voc Rehab. They can help you with all of this.

I have had a terrible evening and I can't even post about it. I'm so angry and suspicious and paranoid. I don't know if I'm going to get much sleep. Another night ruined and fuck knows what's going to happen the next few days/weeks. More money spent. More emotional rollercoasters endured.

*HUGS*

I just feel hopeless.
I understand that feeling. Try to find one simple little thing you can look forward to.

I'm not looking foward to changing clocks again. I couldn't sleep for days when the clocks where changed back in March. Plus I suffer from SAD really bad when its cold out.

I HATE losing the hour of light at night. It really depresses me, dark at 4:15 pm....

Full spectrum lights and Vitamin D are essential for me and my wife during the winter. She suffers very badly, owning to her almost full Scandinavian heritage.

I had to move to place with more light. It definitely impacts my mental health.

The MedCram guy did a lot of videos on sunlight. And it’s one of the main fixes now for long COVID. This doc is telling his patients with long COVID to spend more time outside.

His death graph is scary too.
