You should look for animal sanctuaries near you, most of them do public tours or events, where you get to meet the animals, and quite a few of them have Emus. I know of at least 3 or 4 out East and one in California that all have Emus.

We went out to see the wild donkeys again today.
Sorry for the wind, but if you listen closely you can hear one of the snort at us, which is their way of telling us to back off. After that I stopped the video and we backed up enough that they relaxed a little more.
