I'd have assumed Hugh's ship was more like the Borg Probe from VOY: "Dark Frontier", but sure, why not, it works. There's no reason all small Borg ships have to look identical any more than all Starfleet shuttles do. I just wish the bloody thing wasn't absolutely enormous compared to the rest of the range...

Yep, no BSG, Stargate, Space: 1999, Expanse, A/P, nothing. I am hoping that, since a lot of the models being sold by MR don't have magazines with them, that they might release the rest of them somewhere. If they were actually made, that is. I suspect most, if not all, of the previously unreleased models likely never had magazines done up for them.

I believe MR has said on Twitter that they finally made contact with the printers of the magazines and are working on getting the files and trying to figure a good way to get them out.

I put this together back in 1998 of the Borg Scout - probably what the WizKids model was based on. For the life of me, I have no recollection of where I got the source imagery for it. Since it was only ever seen as a practical set, I don't think anyone really knows what the whole thing definitively looks like.

That's a real shame. I managed to get hard copies with a lot of the bonuses (Defiant 1764, Enterprise-F, Voyager concept, Enterprise-C concept, Reliant concept, Klingon D4 concept, Phase II Enterprise, Cardassian weapon platform, Bonaventure, Conestoga, Friendship 1, and "The Cage" Enterprise)

Yea, I'd really love some hard copies for the ones I don't have, which includes most of the stations and specials. (I'd love to get David Gerrold to sign a magazine for K-7, someday, for instance).

They're having such a hard time keeping up with shipping, I think it would be better if they wholesaled most of these ships to RealMerch and let them deal with them, and stayed focused on the higher value items.

and yeah, seems like the shipping issues are starting to become a bigger deal. You can’t click on a tweet of theirs without seeing one or two people asking where their stuff is. Maybe they need to pause the drops for longer than just a week and get completely caught up before resuming.

At least I FINALLY get my Cerritos on Thursday. With my luck it will be damaged or something.

I’ve said this all before, but the concepts should have been bonus issues, not part of the mainline and vice versa. Specials should have been reserved for space stations and large ships, like V’ger. I have no idea who thought making the Vulcan Shuttle and Lander as Specials was a good idea. Maybe Eaglemoss though they would display better with the shuttles?

I believe it was a cost issue, the Vulcan and Son'a ships had to be re-modelled from scratch and weren't expected to be as popular as Starfleet ships that they had to do the same for, so it wasn't going to be economical to do them at standard price.

Speaking of, I'm somewhat surprised we haven't seen any of the Son'a ships from MR yet, I'd have thought there'd be a fair few of those knocking around. The Battleship is one of the few things that I bought from Eaglemoss but didn't get that MR haven't had yet. (The only other, I think, is something else we've not seen a lot of, one of the Shuttle Sets, I'd have thought there'd have been a lot of those hanging around too.)

Yeah, I think the majority of the last couple month's drops have been stuff they already had in stock, but announced again to drive interest. That first month they sold out of everything dropped within a week or two, but now that the sense of urgency has dropped for anything but unreleased ships, and even those don't seem to be selling as well as they did April/May..

I also remember some of their early tweets saying stuff like "we're not an online store", etc., well, they sure look like one now.

The only other, I think, is something else we've not seen a lot of, one of the Shuttle Sets, I'd have thought there'd have been a lot of those hanging around too.

I think they've had the first and second sets. The Kelvin one is in the most recent drop, as are a couple of individual ones from the first two sets. I feel it's odd we haven't sets 5-8 (although, I've seen 7 and 8 recently from online retailers that still have/had them in stock).

I remember back when Eaglemoss was still running, it seemed like after an initial production run was sold out it took ages for the restocks to show up. It could be the items we are not seeing now, some of the shuttle sets, later Disco models, etc., are things that were were produced 6-8 months prior to them going under, but had enough time to make it through their distribution chain, and what we are seeing now is only the most recently made/remade stuff that was languishing in warehouses.
