Spoilers Futurama Season 11 (8)

I thought that was odd. At first, I thought maybe he didn't grow that much because his voice sounded different, maybe older, but then they openly acknowledged he's a teenager. So much for that theory. I was kind of hoping Dwight would age up at least.
Yeah, the way they acknowledge the passage of time on this has been kind weird, I know it wouldn't be as obvious as with the kids, but you'd think somewhere in that time the even adult characters would have shown some signs of aging.

Don't they "explain" it in the season premiere? That the whole frozen time thing messed with their biological ages so that they don't even know how old they are now? Meanwhile chronologically it's now 3023?

Yeah, they brought it up in the premiere.

I haven't seen this week's episode yet, but I'm loving the show being back again. It's like a comfortable old pair of shoes whenever Futurama returns. :)

The resurrection of Calculon filled me with glee, as did the continuity with Kif and Amy's (and Leela's) kids. Though anytime overworked Kif gets to groan at Zapp is perfection. :D

I thought episode 4 really dragged by the end. A few funny lines and nice Dune references but it felt longer than 22 minutes (maybe it IS longer than 22 minutes now and I forgot to check.)

Having coincidentally rewatched "Parasites Lost" just last night (rewatching the whole show with my girlfriend who has only ever seen handful of episodes), I loved the pseudo-sequel with the episode we got today. Not only was it a fun riff on Dune (and I appreciate that it wasn't just a carbon copy retelling), but it was also a sweet look at the relationship between Leela and Nibbler...even if I didn't believe for a moment that Nibbler would remain permanently stupefied. I did find it curiously odd considering the plot point about Nibbler's stupefaction that the Brain Spawn weren't name-checked even once.

I had no idea that Billgar was Kyle MacLachlan so that was a lovely surprise reveal at the end. Good to see both film versions of Dune getting love in this episode.

Lastly, I really, really, really want to play three-dimensional crossword now!

Yeah, but even before that the show covered 14 years and while that's close enough we wouldn't expect the adult characters to age to visibly in that time, you would think kids like Cubert and Dwight would have.
This was a lot of fun. I love Nibbler, so the focus on him was nice, and the Dune parody once they went down into his litter box was a lot of fun. Parasites Lost has always been one of my favorite episodes, so the fact this was a follow up to that was another big plus for me.

“Parasites Lost” is probably a top 5 episode for me so my expectations were probably unreasonably high for this one. It’s nowhere near a classic but I still enjoyed it. It’s just been a sheer joy having this show back on the air. My life is incredibly stressful, I feel like I needed this! Can’t believe we’ll soon be halfway through the season though.

It's been implied before that Nibbler has ate people before, just off screen. He coughs up a hairball with a pair of sunglasses and a cane, implying he ate a blind man, in the first Amazon Women episode.

Still it seems out of character for Leela not to be bothered by straight up murder. The show has always been really nihilistic but Fry and Leela are usually the ones to balance it out.

"Sweet Vampire Moses!" is the new "Sweet Zombie Jesus!"

Another fun adventure and I like how the Momazon crisis wasn't actually resolved by just becoming the new universal standard. Wouldn't be the first time that's happened on this show (and then quickly forgotten).

While I enjoyed the tension between Bender and the relationship between Fry and Leela, it did feel little "kind of there." But I did enjoy seeing their relationship expanding...even if it didn't make any sense for Leela to move in with Fry and Bender as oppose to Fry moving in with Leela.

Have we ever seen where Leela lives?
This one was a lot of fun, the Momazon stuff was a perfect parody of Amazon.
I was pretty shocked by how it ended.
