Ahh good guess, I was wondering how that clip would fit in. The sensor dampening field might also explain why they're dropping uncontrollably in the same clip.

They drop what's left of that ship onto the Gorn jammer on the surface of the planet
For the others: Don't check. It's not a massive revelation. But a thing that's really annoying to know already about in advance, possibly spoil some fun and tension.
