Kirk literally mentions Pike in 2 out of his 79 episodes. Mirror Pike is referenced in onscreen dialogue in Season 2. That's it.

Techincally Kirk references Pike also in the mirror universe but the computer references mirror Pike.

I don't think they are using that actor this year. Must have gotten a better paying job or something on another show. Granted I don't think he was suppose to be the guy from "The Cage."

They said in the episode that had Anson's and the Director's comments tack on the SNW S1 Blu-Ray (SNW S1 Strange New Worlds); that the actor 'got another job' and has moved on. They MIGHT still mention the character (if they have a situation where Pike et. al is calling down to the Transporter room with an order and they don't need to show the character); but he won't be appearing on the show any longer, (Unless the other job ends and they bring him back at some point. )

That was just a joke comment since some fans seem to think the Asian guy with glasses in "The Cage" is supposed to be Kyle from SNW but, hey, I'll roll with the serious replies.
