Yes.The clinic I got the prescription for my contact lenses says I don't have to buy lenses from them. However, a couple of the numbers don't show up as an option if I try to place an order anywhere else. The numbers end in .25 or .75 but on the other sites they only end in .00 or .50. Is this the ophthalmology clinic being scammy so that I have to buy from them?
Looking into people's eyes makes me uncomfortable, and with mine and other people's sunglasses and tinted windows it's almost impossible to see people's eyes. And most of the time I'm not that close to the cars until I'm already going past them.Don't go in front of a vehicle unless you look into their eyes.
I have a $2K+ e-bike and it's still going strong, so I don't intend to replace it until it dies. I mostly ride on sidewalks, I really don't like the cars getting that close.Get a mountain bike. You can’t pay me to share the road with vehicles.
Because I love learning about people. Much like studying history.Dystopias where everyone dies. Why bother to read or watch one to only see everyone dead at the end?
Superficial cuts and hand sanitizer.

Titanic waves hello.Worked with Rogue One, didn't it?
That was a tragedy, where you knew before you watched it how it was going to end.Worked with Rogue One, didn't it?

I’m talking about stories where there is a possibility of a good ending, but everyone still dies.
Tragedies then. Willy Shakespeare was known for them. Lots of operas too. Heck, even Lord of the Rings is not an entirely good ending. That was a tragedy, where you knew before you watched it how it was going to end.

Which is a tragedy in of itself and shows the poisoning of the well of the idea of a "happily ever after." Which is absurdist on its face.I've been seeing a lot of this online lately. People posting "This movie/book/tv show sucks and was pointless and the ending didn't work all because it wasn't happy and the main characters died!"

Yes.Do you expect the main character from NCIS or the Blacklist to die?
Didn't watch it. No idea.Did you like how LOST ended?
No, because it seemed like a copout and that the writing staff didn't know where the hell they were going, not because of the actual place they ended up.Did you like how LOST ended?
The last good TV ending I remember is the original 4400 that I binged during lockdown. No, because it seemed like a copout and that the writing staff didn't know where the hell they were going, not because of the actual place they ended up.
