Damn, that's disappointing, especially since everyone else who matters will be returning. I loved her in the second film.

Given that they have to shoot the script as written with no improvisation allowed I'm worried for what it'll turn out like.
Yeah, but I was thinking since he'll mostly be wearing a mask couldn't they redub those scenes at a later date and get away with it?

but it's a shame if 'Shang-Chi 2' is gone.
I can't imagine that's going to happen, not after the success of the first film. It's probably just kicked down the road like everything else and will pop up again. There are MCU dates without titles in that reshuffle.

One thing I didn't notice at first is that they also seem to have dropped the two unnamed MCU movies they had on their schedule. Are 'Shang-Chi 2' and 'Armor Wars' dead?
Couldn't really give one hoot, let alone two about Shang-Chi 2, but I'm hoping War Machine will be filling an Iron Man shaped hole in the MCU and am (was ?) excited for Armour Wars.

Scarlett Johansson hints at one last MCU project:

Speaking with ComicBook.com at the Asteroid City press junket, Johansson noted that her mystery Marvel producing project is still in the works but progress has been paused due to the WGA writers' strike.

"It is still happening. Yes," Johansson said. "It is still happening, [but] not currently because nothing is happening right now. We're all sort of in this holding pattern as we wait out the writers' strike and potentially our own guild strike, and so on and so forth."
.
.
.
"Right before the strike, we were in the middle of developing it, and now everything is at a simmer," Johansson added.
Apparently this was something that was known but this is the first I've heard about it (or, again, my memory sucks).

I'll watch it myself and then judge.

Why do people always post nonsense like this.

It doesn't make you in any way special or important to ignore reviews; it makes you the same as 99% of the rest of the world. But it doesn't matter because the purpose of a review is not to stop you watching/reading/playing something.

Saw a reviewer describe Secret Invasion as the Andor of the MCU. I liked Andor so I would take that as a positive.
Now that it is a worthy comparison.

And considering some of the dumb complaints/flak Andor got, that might explain why some people aren't liking Secret Invasion.

I could say the same about people who go out of their way to point out that early reviews are poor for a film or show.

What were those Andor complaints? Not enough Lightsabers and Space Wizards and it was "Too Gritty"?
There were certain people on this board who absolutely hated it. I've also seen people who were just lukewarm towards it, something seen here and among friends on social media.

Far be it for me to express their concerns but I think it was broadly "didn't feel like Star Wars," too many characters, too slow, too long, nothing happens, etc. And yeah, too gritty.

Not enough aliens.

Too much emphasis on real world politic.

No droids, or limited droids.

Too grim and gritty and less fanciful.

Slow moving and less action, with a lot of talking and speeches.
