Yeah I really need to watch the credits or google before asking silly questions.

I completely missed it the first 2 times that the head Doctor at the hospital in "A New World, Part One" was Ramsey's mother.

Mostly because I forgot her name and only realized it after reading the wiki page on the episode. But I went back and she does introduce herself to Singh when he shows up.

What a mess! I really had hoped the final arc of the series would be better. :sigh:

Hopefully the ending will satisfy, at least a little.

Finally caught up on all the episodes this season. Hasn't been strong. I can't believe the next episode will be the last. I can't imagine they can service all the characters present and past successfully in one episode.

I completely don't understand why they introduced Khione in the last season. They gave Frost a send off but completely ditch Caitlin as if the actress had decided not to renew their contract and was recast. It's weird. Khione is the most boring character of the entire show.

I still need to start this last season. And to be honest.... Nothing is drawing me in. I've seen teasers and trailers. Heard some stuff. The last good ArrowVerse show for me was Legends. I loved Flash, but since season 5 it's just been getting worse.

In the Netherlands, we get the episodes a day after it airs in the States. Somewhere next week, I'll binge my way through. I've stuck with it, because....well honestly I don't know. I am curious how it ends I guess.

Sneak peak for Series Finale. Using the opening narration from the pilot is a nice touch.

I am with you guys. Cisco was a major part of the show..I guess he already got a goodbye, but he deserves to be there at the end.
    Awesome question.
I am hoping there will be some kind of Coda, like with Stargirl. It some ways it might seem a rip off of Stargirl's ending but the Flash Museum was there first, and they have some stuff up that could say some things...maybe even Nora and or Bart telling their kids about Team Flash.

I was hoping parts 2 and 3 would have been like part 1, which was a great ending to one arc. This whole season should have been about wrapping up something for each character, even if they appear later on.

Other than the final battle, i don't know else they can/will do. But i feel like it will be disappointing, unfortunately.
I had higher hopes from Eric Wallace during his tenure.

They also made a joke of it with Cecile saying how great she looked... but yeah they could have done a better job.

I'm glad this series is over. The finale was disappointing to say the least, and I think I stopped caring about the story 5 minutes in. There were some good emotional moments and the ending wasn't bad, but I'm just relieved the series is over.

The villains were defeated way too easily and the ending was missing so last big reveal. I thought he was going to share his speed and create the movie Flash.
I was expecting some twist with the birth as well. When it was revealed to be just Nora is was rather disappointing.

Also, I thought Cecile was already married.

I think the finale definitely checked off all the boxes. We got a big team fight between Team Flash and a gallery of past villains. It wrapped up the positive vs negative speed force arc. It also wrapped up the character arcs for main characters. And we get a nice epilogue with Barry telling baby Nora to believe in the impossible and him sharing his speed. We are left on a happy ending that all is well and there is hope for a new world where good will win over evil.

For the bad. I agree that the villains were defeated way too easily. And it really undoes all the menace that the villains used to have. Zoom, Savatar, Reverse Flash were serious threats and super menacing. And Flash only defeated them with a lot of effort. It was epic and satisfying when they were defeated. I think it might have been a mistake to bring them back just so that OP Team Flash can defeat them in seconds. It undermines Flash's victory against them in previous seasons.

Defeating the Negative Speed Force just by talking to Eddie and appealing to his good side, did feel cheesy to me. But we've seen that before so it is consistent with the tone of the show. I do like the idea of the positive and negative speed force coexisting instead of being in conflict. But Kheon's speech about coexistence felt super on the nose.

I feel like there were some missed opportunities. Cisco should have been there. He was such a big part of Team Flash.. They bring back Wells. But the finale did not even mention or acknowledge Cisco. It was like he never existed. Weird.

I also feel like Speed Force Nora should have been present too. If you are going to have the Positive and Negative Speed Force learning to coexist then it only makes sense that the personification of the Positive Speed Force would be there.

But yeah, it was a ok as a finale. It checked all the boxes. But I do feel like the show should have ended sooner. I do think the show dragged on too long and it was basically running on fumes at the end. It missed its chance to end on a high note. I still think last season would have been a better end. Defeating the Negative Speed Force and Reverse Flash once and for all was a good ending. And they could have tagged on an epilogue with Nora's birth. This season felt disjointed and unnecessary.

Not bad, not great. They did what they could with the limited time, budget, and actor availability at their disposal, and it had some nice payoffs and callbacks and sentimental moments, but had to be kind of cursory about it all. In particular, Barry convincing Eddie to give up vengeance happened way too easily. I couldn't really tell how he changed Eddie's mind; it just kind of happened.

Also, I get that Negative Speed Force lightning is red, but it's weird to name Eddie Cobalt Blue, make such a big deal about this blue crystal and its blue energy, and then just give him red lightning. At least they could've given him a mix of red and blue lightning, like how Nora/XS has yellow and purple lightning.

I'm disappointed that Carlos Valdez's schedule didn't allow Cisco to return, and I'm really disappointed that there was no mention of the Legends. I thought the producers said before the season that the Legends would be acknowledged in some way, but there was nothing.

I did kind of like that they worked in one last reference to the 1990 Flash, when Jay said he learned the speed-draining trick from his Earth-90 doppelganger, with the music quoting Danny Elfman's theme from the 1990 series one last time. Another cool reference was Chester invoking "Dazzling Dwayne McDuffie," the late comic book author who co-created the Milestone Dakotaverse and characters like Static, Icon, and Rocket, and who wrote extensively for the DC Animated Universe.

I wasn't as fond of the random bit at the end where the Flash sent his speed powers to three new people. Okay, they're all speedsters in the comics, but a comics reference that's just a wink to the fans and has no story relevance within the show is not good writing. For the vast majority of viewers who aren't already comics fans, the names Max Mercury and Jess Chambers would mean nothing, and Avery Ho has only appeared a couple of times before. Also, what gives Barry the right to force this life-altering power on strangers who may not want it?

I'm glad we finally, finally got the whole team in supersuits, but it was too little, too late. Allegra finally got a costume for the battle scene, but her code name was never mentioned. The Arrowverse Wiki says it was Accelerant, which, huh? That's a pretty awkward code name, and I don't get how it fits someone with ultraviolet powers. I figure it's probably a reference to the particle accelerator, but many people got their powers from it. Or maybe it's a musical pun? Allegro and accelerando? Whatever -- maybe it's just as well they never used it onscreen. But since it's not from the comics, they could've just made up a better name and actually used it.

I don't think so. I think it shows how much the heroes have learned and powered up in the years since they first faced these villains. And the heroes have the goddess Khione and Virtue at full power on their side, which they didn't have before.

Could have at least one of the villains kill off one of Flash’s minions. I groaned out loud when Chester came back to life.
Put some actual threat into it

Huh? Why does someone have to die for a story to be worthwhile? I mean, this is The Flash, not Arrow or Black Lightning. It's one of the most upbeat shows in the Arrowverse. Why shouldn't it have a happy ending?

Anyway, at least Frost is still dead. I was expecting Khione to bring both her and Caitlin back. I'm actually a bit miffed that she didn't.

You are forgetting how much slower Barry was in the earlier seasons.

To begin with he was barely cracking 200 kph.

The baby should have been a boy.

Savatar should have melted when he saw Iris pregnant, got out of the armour and delivered the baby.

Eddie should have joined with Speed force Nora and Negative Speed Force Nora, Like Decker and Ilia at the end of Star Trek the motion Picture, but it was CLEARLY sexual, and then they all should have put their hand out to Barry asking him to join a fourway.... "Dude! No! That's my Mom! Twice!"

The Thinker should have left a video message, because he anticipated all of this.

Ralph should have come back. Not the actor, but Ralph.

"Thawn says "You may be wondering where Cisco is? I killed him an hour ago. Took his heart out of his body, and fed it to him. I'm not actually sure if he choked to death, or died of cardiovascular trauma?"

Kaitlan is preggers from when Mark banged Keon, Frost comes out and stomps him. "She was my sister you a-hole!"

Chester should have died. "hello party people" is so out of date, and he's still saying it in 2052. Insanely annoying. Chunk is supposed to be massive. It was an insult from the beginning to cast a string bean.

Force lightning and lightsabres? %uck off.

Season one legends with Rip Hunter and the hawks should have turned up to save the day.

Thawn should have killed Eddie, and then Thawn disappears again.

Savatar should have wandered off, forgot about the fight, and proposed to Patty Spivot, trying to live happily ever after, before Eddie pulled the rug out from under his feet.

Negative speed is speed, but it does not get you high like Velocity Nine does. No matter how fast Zoom was running, he still should have been tweaking and offering to switch sides or give away a kidney in exchange for a whiff of velocity nine.

Godspeed is a total fail. No love. Thawn should have killed him in the original meeting and demanded that Eddie replace him with a real threat. Is Rival the only unused speed villain? Trajectory was neutral more than a villain. What about original Nora? Murdered and replaced by a shitty doppleganger who did not lose her dad? She's actually old enough to date Eddie, shades of the graduate, which should have happened, which would've have been super weird when Barry protested his original daughter making out with Iris's old boyfriend, and even weirder when the negative speedforce gave Eddie his blonde Nora doppelganger to raise. Yikes. I mean I suppose most people have to deal with their children looking similar to their spouse, but this takes the biscuit.

^ I don't think anyone is a fan of Chester.

Well, that's that. I'm glad the series is over. It was more often than not a slog to watch. I'll always remember how amazing season 1 was. It's a shame that so much of the cast changed and those that remained looked bored the last few seasons. Grant Gustin kept the flame alive though and if it wasn't for him and my interest in the Flash character I would have given up long ago.

I'm done with any modern shows that have 20+ episodes each season. The quality isn't there anymore and the writing isn't either.

He was there at the end. He proposed to Cecile (Which surprised me in that I thought they were already married).

Disappointing series finale. Way too rushed. They could have done the final 4 episode arc well if it was built up the entire season (and written with the quality of seasons 1 - 3). They should have looked at Arrow as an example of how to do a final season. Oh well… can’t say I’m surprised considering the quality of this show since midway through season 6.
