Law & Order General Discussion Thread

Less Stabler, more the rest of the team.

I'm down with that.

Kelli Giddish will guest star on OC and SVU.

...but not that.

Edit: Oy, the mom from that last SVU episode was a piece of work, wasn't she? Honestly when that episode first started - that scene in couples counseling - I thought she was the WIFE!

And as for OC: How does Elliot not know what a 'circuit party' is? SVU's had them before (such as that ep where a guy is going around killing people for spreading a particularly nasty strain of HIV).

Do you know what Special Victims Unit and the ”late bloomers” prequel thing is?
I didn't either until, maybe, yesterday.
I had seen Stabler in some episodes quickly but I think I never watched an entire episode.
I started watching SVU after Stabler had left. So, I got to know the era of Benson, Tutuola, Rollins and Carisi.
Now there are reruns of earlier episodes on TV with Stabler. It's like watching prequels, what was before the new cast came along.
It's also interesting to get to know Cragen, Munch and some other characters after only being more familiar with the more recent episodes.

And then there's the new Stabler series....

Is 'For the Defense' well and truly dead?

Because if it's ever going to be a thing, they might wanna give Jeri Ryan a call (now that PIC is over). Patrice LaRue was one of the few L&O defense attorneys I really liked

Question on the latest OC:

The Indian senator (can't remember her name) was in on the plot to steal the microchips. So why can't the ambassador revoke HER diplomatic immunity, like he did with her security chief?

Edit: Regarding the SVU ep...I'm not sure but I think Maxwell might have intentionally let her husband die. She just stood there for a few minutes...THEN she calls 911.

I mean, surely she knows the Heimlich maneuver?

Is Thursday a three-way crossover or an SUV/OC crossover? The previews make it seem like it's one big event but the actual plot summaries suggest it's only two shows.

I thought for sure they were killing off Cosgrove.

ditto.

but they did a number on his character though with his claim to have heard Madison identify little slimeball as the murderer unless I manage to miss it.

When he dove to Madison in the warehouse, she flat-out said, "He killed Sarah."

okay I missed it.

initially skipped a bit cos I didn’t want to see Frank get it and went back but not quite far enough.

glad Frank’s character remains unassainated. Yeah he’s a conservative but I like him.

Jeffrey Donovan has much better chemistry with Mehcad Brooks than he did with Anthony Anderson, I'll give him that.

Although last week's episode has me wondering how terrible of a time his daughter is having at that fancy private school now that everyone there knows she's a snitch.
