A lot like Uncharted, a little like Dark Souls, but not as hard... but still hard, if you know what I mean? Usually, I play games at Normal difficulty. If I like the game enough, I'll play on Hard difficulty for the trophy (inFamous, inFamous 2). I cranked the level down to story mode on one of the Inquisitor fights, it was kicking my ass so bad. That said, I still enjoyed the game, and have Survivor installed to queue up when I get done with Burning Shores
Edit: the game will have you feeling like a Jedi Master against Stormtroopers, but a Padawan when fighting Inquisitors
Bought Jedi Survivor yesterday out of a whim and i don't know why - i'm so so on the game design ( i am not a fan of linear area design, i.e. tube levels) and so far it is exactly the same as the previous game. However i have only played 1-2 hours so far, haven't even made it to the level boss yet so the game might expand - it is a whopping 130 GB so i figure there is much more to come.

I know exactly what you mean and this sounds like it would scratch my Star Wars itch
I just got past Coruscant last night. The platforming can be annoying but the light saber play is great. I've tried to stay spoiler free with it but what I've heard is it's exactly the same but better and I'm completely ok with that. The open world is just now starting to unlock for me so I can't say much about it. I loved the first game despite not loving a lot of wall running and path finding.
I finished The Burning Shores and got all the trophies. Maybe I'm burnt out on Horizon (I've played Zero Dawn, Frozen Wilds, Forbidden West and Burning Shores all within the last 12 months), or maybe it was due to lack of good new robots to fight, but I was glad to be done with it.
I splurged and got the WD Black 2 TB SSD expansion for my PS5, so I won't have to worry about storage space for a while.
So, the question is, which game next? I've heard Jedi Survivor can be kind of glitchy, so do I wait for the patch? Play Resident Evil 4? Cyberpunk 2077? Alan Wake Remastered? Stray? Far Cry 6? Something short while I wait for Tears of the Kingdom? So many decisions...

Well, I've just finished AC Odyssey. Personally, I think I still prefer Origins. Bayek was a more likeable character who found joy in helping people, and I felt it had more overall personality and the story felt better and more complete. I played as Kassandra and... I dunno, I couldn't quite connect to the character, and while they definitely put in a lot of detail, it's just exhausting at times, and the story felt rather simplistic. I skipped the Between Two Worlds storyline, because despite setting the difficulty to easy and the scaling to the lowest, I still found it way too difficult.
Yeah I can see how playing all the Horizon content within a year could burn someone out. I played them all as they were released, so I did quite enjoy Burning Shores. I got a 1TB expansion a couple of days ago and I just installed it last night. It's nice having more space on my PS5. Though 1TB is plenty for me.
As for which game to play next... CP2077 is in a very solid state now. I really enjoyed playing it (in performance mode). Stray was cute (and fairly short). I've heard good things about RE2, however I'm waiting for a price drop. And I actually enjoyed FC6 way more than FC5. I'm not sure why, maybe because the location was more interesting. Or because I haven't played a FC game in a while. Either way, I had fun with it.
I loved FC6 way more then FC4.... and it's fun just dicking around the island in a car or the flying thing they had.. Shame they didn't program any motorbikes.
Just got Metroid Prime 1 for Gamecube in the mail 2 hours ago today.
Used to have the game a few years ago but kind of lost interest in the game. So I had to rebuy it recenttly.

I enjoyed the Burning Shores - it came out right when I was playing Forbidden West so the timing was great *but* I'm not a 100 percent completionist on every game. I'm ok with missing a trophy or two or even skipping activities if I don't enjoy them or if the rewards just don't seem worth it. I think with games the size of Forbidden West you kinda need to be ok with skipping some things or it could be pretty easy to burn out. If you played Zero Dawn and Frozen Wilds as well then that's a lot of time spent in that general environment (plus the Horizon games are harder than average so there's that aspect as well). You probably just need a break from that world.
FWIW, I've been playing Jedi Survivor on PS5 and haven't had much issue. Much like Cyberpunk was a console disaster but ok on a lot of PCs, Jedi Survivor seems the opposite - it's running ok on console but PC users are having issues.
Did you play any of the other Resident Evil remakes? I bought the entire franchise after Village came out for next to nothing and played the remakes. I played the demo for 4 and it's very similar in that a lot of it is an almost shot for shot remake at times but I'd like to know what if anything they might've changed with 4. Because although that's one of the cult favorites for a lot of people, as someone who played the original fairly recently, I can tell you the plot to that game is a mess and there are things that needed to be updated (modernized) "help me Leon!" but if you liked the original you should like the new one. (That one tho is one I will probably wait to pick up on sale bc it's not been very long since I played the original).
On the topic of Cyberpunk... I've only played the PC version but it was better than I expected it to be. It feels rushed at points (which we know it was) but my playthrough was after the Edgerunners update and it was a lot of fun despite feeling like it was missing things here and there. If you're ok with enjoying what's there I think you'll like it but if you think too much about what should've been you might not enjoy it as much. Don't skip the side content if you play it - CDProjekt Red still very much shines there and there are some quests that are def. worth the price of admission, imo (of course I bought the game when the price bottomed out).
Stray is another I've played on PC but I think it's also available for those with the PS sub. It's a fun game but a very different kind of game. If you like games like A Plague Tale then Stray should be something I think you'd like - it's short and simple but in many ways just a perfect antidote to a lot of what's wrong with gaming. It's one of those little gems that at some point you should play.
I haven't played any of the Alan Wake games.... Should I check these out? I've been delaying coming to an end of my Jedi Survivor playthrough but I don't know how much longer I can delay so I'll be searching for a new game soon as well.

I left Coruscant and have been exploring the second planet. I'm really liking it so far, but I suck at parrying (something I never got good at with Fallen Order, either). It's crashed a couple of times on me. Once, it wouldn't let me do a Force move against

Yeah, I played all the DLCs. I think I put 75 hours into Zero Dawn/Frozen Wilds, then 95 hours into Forbidden West/Burning Shores.
I have Resident Evil/Zero Remake for PS4 and get my ass handed to me regularly, then get somewhere and forget to save it, so I get mad and quit. I've played through Village, but not Biohazard. I had Resident Evil 4 for GameCube and made it to the escort the President's Daughter mission, then loaned it out and never saw it again. I've started the Remake. It's slightly different, but this time, I got killed before the second level, so I put it up and decided to play it around Halloween.
I have Alan Wake Remastered waiting for me to play it. I've never played it, but I LOVED Control, which was set in the same universe
