I found it, the quote from Hasbro was that Bumblebee was the start of “a new storytelling universe”.But it wasn't supposed to?

https://comicbook.com/movies/news/bumblebee-official-transformers-reboot-hasbro/Kind of a vague comment, innit?
That's right. At the end of the 5th movie they said that Unicron was in the Earth. It was a set up for movie 6 which never happened. No idea how they would have played that out but since this new movie takes place in the 90s it seems like those movies are going to be completely ignored. I guess you can start with Bumblebee and forget the rest.I am a little confused by how this fits with the Michael Bay movies. I haven't seen any of his movies beyond the first one, but recently I was looking up Unicron after he came up in another discussion, and I thought it said on either Wikipedia or the Transformers wiki that Earth was Unicron in either the 3rd or 4th Bay movie.
I have no problem doing that.I guess you can start with Bumblebee and forget the rest.
RotB seems to be hitting the nostalgia/memberberries pretty good in its transformations and I love it but I also love the Bayformers transformations too, in fact I prefer that. That looks great. The way they transformed in the Bay movies was an absolute mess.
68 million is bad?RotB seems to be hitting the nostalgia/memberberries pretty good in its transformations and I love it but I also love the Bayformers transformations too, in fact I prefer that.
But man, this movie is tracking so, so bad right now.
For OW, absolutely horrendous. Seems they lowered projections for Flash as well.68 million is bad?
