I do. Recognition is the cheapest way to get a thrill.
No, I get a kick out of it, as long as it's appropriate to the situation and they don't over do it.
Yeah. It made me less interested in the movie. It's no longer a "fun" moment. It's an "every other production with a legacy character did it, we need to too!" paint by numbers moment.
Reminds me of how Shatner refused to say "Beam me up Scotty!" in the 80's because he didn't want to feed into that aspect.
The goal went from not wanting to cheapen your product by making it a joke, to wanting to make it a joke for fans to make a meme of it.
Nope. It's fun. I like fun.
I want this movie to be good because for me it's basically the last hurrah of the Snyder continuity. I know that would more properly be Aquaman 2, but I don't have much interest in that one unless it gets unbelievable WOM, and I didn't actually watch the first one, just saw a few scenes on cable. Blue Beetle seems unlikely to have anything to do with anything.

I'm so sick of "Come with me if you want to live." Kyle was cool when he said it. Everyone else (Arnie included) was just a pale imitation.
As much as I am still very much looking forward to The Flash, this trailer did less for me than the previous one. I can't put my finger on it, but yeah...
As for the 'he/she/they said the thing'.... I'm good with it. I loved the 'Yeah, I'm Batman'. This one felt a bit more forced, but it was just a quick edit. Perhaps it works in the scene.
But look at Picard season 3. That was basically one big nostalgia fest riddled 'said the thing', 'mentioned the thing', 'we saw the thing' and so on. And I loved it, because that entire season was BUILD to be a nostalgia fest. Now, if they are trying to create a serious movie with drama but stuff it with stuff like that....than I got a bit less happy about it. It distracts from the movie itself.

I believe not since it seems that why we have Keaton Batman here is because Barry changed the timeline meaning Batfleck doesn't exist.

That's like going to a concert and thinking to yourself, "I hope they don't play the hits".
I mean to some people Keaton returning to that line is like a band going back to their worst song
Some people *REALLY* hate that line from the movie even in the context of when it was said.
Not at all, because the expectations are different. If you go to see a new performance of a Shakespeare play, say, then you expect them to perform the same dialogue. But if you're going to see a new story in a series, you want to see the characters saying and doing new things. If a familiar character is returning, you want them to be true to the characterizations you remember, but reducing that to parroting catchphrases is a shallow substitute for actual characterization.
Don't get me wrong, a catchphrase can work well if it's used in a meaningful context, if it's earned. But if it's blatantly just tacked on to get a rise out of the audience, that's cheap and manipulative.
I'll always like that one for the Clark Kent vs Superman fight alone. And Annette O'Toole as Lana Lang
