He's gone. The scourge of the NFC North is gone. Aaron Rodgers and pick number 15 (plus a future fifth-rounder) to the Jets for number 13 overall, a 2023 second round pick (number 42), a 2023 sixth-round pick (number 207) and a conditional 2024 second-round pick that becomes a first if Rodgers plays 65 percent of the plays this season.
It will be interesting to see how Rodgers reacts to the pressure of NYC.

They will, but if they get a Super Bowl out of it, they'll consider it a good move. The AFC is just so tough, though. It's not like the Rams grabbing Stafford for instance.
In his introductory press conference in New York today, Rodgers said the reason he said the Packers didn't try to contact him because he "doesn't get good cell reception" at his house and so the only way he wants people to contact him is via FaceTime, and they didn't FaceTime him.

In the Super Bowl season, the Rams had a ton of talent surrounding Stafford.
The Jets will not provide that level of talent.
As a 49ers fan, it is hard to get excited for this draft considering they don't pick until Saturday. Maybe they will trade Lance for a second round pick and the long conversation will be over. Not sure you want to put all your hopes on Brock Purdy though, coming off that injury.
I don't know? They have a lot of talent and still some windows to acquire more talent. It is just going to be incredibly hard for them to still be standing at the end of the year in a loaded AFC.
Quite right, it’s not like the Rams. Though I’m eager to see how Rodgers fares throwing to Garrett Wilson, Mecole Hardman and Corey Davis with a hopefully healthy Breece Hall in the backfield.
That fruit bat is gonna fit perfectly in NY.
