All the murmuring around the webz about them killing off Din has me worried. Normally, I don't give that sort of thing the time of day, but for some reason I'm getting bad vibes.
It's actually Kathleen Kennedy under the helmet and armor. And she was fired. Were these the same murmurers that claimed Pedro Pascal had been secretly fired and being replaced by Boba Fett two years ago? I wouldn't worry. They're not about to kill him off anytime soon.
That sounds more like grasping at straws than an actual credible theory. For a betrayal to matter you have to actually care about the betraying. Until exactly one episode again, Axe Wolves didn't even have a name as far as people that don't read the credits are concerned (i.e. 90% of the audience.) Moreover, in the last two episodes he's been a (mild) antagonist. Not much of a plot twist to have that guy most of the audience thinks is a jerk turn out to be slightly more of a jerk, is it?I have seen a new theory that Axe Woves is the traitor who betrayed them all to Gideon and his forces so I can definitely see Axe dying next week after he's been exposed as the Mandalorian who sold out his brethren for money or for a place of influence in Gideon's new order on Mandalore.
Hell, Gideon might kill him himself after he's served his purpose.
They're not going to kill off a character played by Pedro Pascal at this point. Besides given that it's based on Lone Wolf and Cub, with a smattering of Sergio Leone Spaghetti Westerns thrown in; if and when Din goes out, it'll be in a blaze of glory taking out many many Goons. All the murmuring around the webz about them killing off Din has me worried. I do expect Axes Woves to be killed mainly because so far these past couple of episodes have shown he's actually a pretty terrible fighter. Like, how has he lasted this long among Mandalorians anyway?I have seen a new theory that Axe Woves is the traitor who betrayed them all to Gideon and his forces so I can definitely see Axe dying next week after he's been exposed as the Mandalorian who sold out his brethren for money or for a place of influence in Gideon's new order on Mandalore.

It's a pity that all of this is becoming a lead up to the godawful Sequel Trilogy and especially the atrocious "The Rise of Skywalker". What a waste.
I dont think we will ever see a reboot. It's a pity that all of this is becoming a lead up to the godawful Sequel Trilogy and especially the atrocious "The Rise of Skywalker". What a waste.
For me, the funny part is that a lot of the people whinging about the New Republic's portrayal here are the very same that have been whinging about "EU erasure!" for going on a decade.
SW fanbois: terminally whinging since circa January 31st 1997.
The Holiday Special set the bar too high. There was a Star Wars fan magazine from the 70s that shut down after ROTJ came out because they disliked it so much they felt they couldn't morally support the franchise anymore.
I wish modern fans had the same sense to shut up when they dislike something that much.
Edit: Sorry, it wasn't ROTJ, it was ESB
