What games are you playing currently?

I just started Rebel Galaxy Outlaw, and if you love Freelancer, this game is Freelancer on steroids, with up to date graphics, and a terrific soundtrack.

Back playing Oblivion for nostalgia purposes. And because it's clearly the best Elder Scrolls game made yet.

I've been playing Oblivion recently and wish I could go back to 2006 and experience it all over again. Seeing a giant rat for the first time or the encounter with the ghosts at Benirus Manor. I close the curtains, put on headphones and am transported to a different world like having my own holodeck. The music is also outstanding and my favourite music of any game. It just fits and makes it a pleasure to wander around settlements. Adding mods can become very addictive and there is still an active modding community which says a lot about the game.

Currently playing Drake's Fortune, the first game in The Nathan Drake Collection on PS4. Already beat it on both easy and normal and am now almost through the hard setting. I still don't like the second part of the jet ski level (Chapter 12, I think it is), since trying to drive up waterfalls while dodging both explosive barrels and enemies can be quite unnerving at times. Trying to defeat Navarro at the end can be a bit of a challenge as well (since he kicks away your weapons at the last moment), but at least he's not as bad as Lazaravic at the end of Among Thieves.:ack:

My Challenges list on Hogwart's Legacy says im at 65%. I'm hoping to 100% it then move on to Resident Evil 4 Remake (which I already have installed). Hopefully I'll have both done in time for Jedi: Survivor then get THAT done in time for Tears of the Kingdom :sigh:

I don't plan on paying a scalper, but if I can manage to find one of those Zelda themed Switch OLEDs I'll probably have to pick it up :)

Edit: No, I can't play all four games at once. My brain immediately forgets control schemes the second I quit playing. In fact, it'll probably take me a while to get back in the groove for the Burning Shores DLC of Forbidden West :(

I think I must've sank at least 1,000 hours into playing Oblivion since I picked it up in 2006. An absolute triumph of a game that blew me away from the start. Between doing the Mages Guild or Assassins Guild quest lines, closing Oblivion gates, raiding Ayleid ruins or becoming Arena champion, I can end up spending 100 hours before I even tackle the main story.

Marvel's Midnight Suns

Picked this up recently and find myself enjoying the hell out of this game that really feels like what would happen if someone hired Bioware to mash together Dragon Age with a turn-based strategy RPG and a card game.

Good use of characters, the story has depth, the acting is good and there are enough sidequests and relationship building endeavors to keep you engaged for a good long time.

My best gaming experience so far this year.

Same. I dove into the deep end. It very much tickles that XCOM itch.

I am about to finish my second (campaign, this time with a Dark Hunter focus instead of light.

debating if I want to work on cosmetic unlocks after or start a third campaign, possibly for twitch streaming where so try out the Power Balance.

I think my grasp of the game is good enough that I would like to start on a higher difficulty. At the end of the current campaign I play on Ultimate III now (abusing the Phoenix Flame combat item a lot! XD)

I might start on Ultimate I and try to get to III a lot sooner.

The game has also made me binge watch Runaways finally and my enjoyment of it is greatly improved by the fact that Nico Minoru is played by the same actress in the show and game (and apparently reprises the role in the upcoming Agatha - Covent of Chaos Show on D+?)

A month or to ago I started Assassin's Creed: Syndicate, but last week I decided to switch to the PS4 Spider-Man. I decided on reading the prequel novel, Hostile Takeover by David Liss. This is actually my third playthrough, but I wanted to play it one more time so it was fresh in my mind when I read the book, so I could pick up on all the connections easier.
