Spoilers Starship Design in Star Trek: Picard

Yeah, you must've missed the part on last nights stream where he wished death upon Kurtzman. Had to shut it off at that point. That was too much for my morbid sense of curiosity.
Do you have a link and time stamp for that? I can't judge it without knowing what was exactly said and in what context. I do find it strange that you hate them and still watch their videos.

No, I certainly don't have a time stamp and I definitely have no desire to go through hours of his drunken livestream from lastnight, looking for a ten second clip. If you've ever watched him, you know this isn't exactly an isolated incident.

As for my watching of the channel, it was a morbid curiosity, played as background noise while I worked on a model kit. He acted pretty much exactly as I predicted he would.

That's grounds for them losing their channel.
It was an off-hand comment about wishing Kurtzman was in a coffin while also commenting about his doubts that Kurtzman is even still working on Star Trek, based on Kurtzman not tweeting any Trek related in some time. That's the extent of my memory on the matter. I switched him off after that point. His constant begging for "likes" was already annoying enough.

Well, I don't either and since it seems you're the only one who was watching the livestream I'm afraid I'll have to take your comments with a pinch of salt due to your strong dislike of the channel. Not calling you a liar. I just didn't see it. I'm not going to jump on the hate wagon.

Uh-huh...

Those guys are the poster children for confusing the notion of visual continuity with the notion of canon. Both of which are rather secondary to storytelling.

con·ti·nu·i·ty
noun
  1. the unbroken and consistent existence or operation of something over a period of time.
"pension rights accruing through continuity of employment"
  2. the maintenance of continuous action and self-consistent detail in the various scenes of a movie or broadcast.
    "a continuity error"
can·on
noun
  1. a general law, rule, principle, or criterion by which something is judged.
"the appointment violated the canons of fair play and equal opportunity"
  2. a collection or list of sacred books accepted as genuine
"the formation of the biblical canon"

Explains why this is an ongoing point of contention and debate when, at least to my poor fatigued mind, this aren't that hard.

It's sort of like saying a cover of a song is not the same song. It's just someone else's version! If you liked the original best ... it's still there for you?

it's still there for you?
*warning: sarcasm* it's actually not. When you download the cover it initiates a full sweep of all your devices, and the Internet, to wipe all traces of the original from the record. This is known as the Ancient Egypt clause in the Terms of Service, where names are erased to destroy all record of them in the history books, thus condemning them to never being remembered.

A similar clause was enacted in 2009. This specific one was the Abrams protocol, designed to erase all of TOS from the records to ensure only Kelvin's Crew was recognized as the TOS crew. Furthermore, the Blu-Ray was equipped with a neuralizer frequency to erase all memory.

Now, please step in to the light.

How do we make that happen?

Get a timestamp for the specific offending comments and use the Report feature of YT. If enough people do it, YT should listen. No guarantees, though.

Was sometime after 11pm EST lastnight. Best I can do. Wasn't really lookin at the clock.
