What did you think of Picard's f-bomb? It felt unnatural to me. In other words, it stopped the scene for me.. no flow. Sometimes the word is helpful and meaningful, but here I felt forced.

It was the one thing that came across jarring about the episode.

However, some sacrifices need to be made for Sir Patrick's cooperation. That scene was actually an ad-lib by Patrick. That was probably his best take of the scene.

It can be waved away as Picard using that type of language to connect with his very un-Starfleet son, in the eleventh hour.

It was the one thing that came across jarring about the episode.

There was nothing jarring about it. Picard had just spent the last 10 minutes talking about how he almost died trying to get laid. He spent ten hours in a shuttle not sure if he would live or die. Calling it 'fucking gruelling' is honestly an understatement.

I like this season of PICARD, but I'm pretty sure I'm a fucking Heretic as far as "Producer Hero Worship" is concerned.

I'd rather praise the SP-Fx guys.
