    This week's haul:

"The Science of Star Trek: The Scientific Facts Behind the Voyages in Space and Time" (Skyhorse, 2022) by Mark Brake; IDW's "Star Trek" comic, Issue #3; and another of Riley Gilchrist's Andorian characters on an autograph collector card, but how badly did they crop his antennae in this one?

I got the new Star Trek Picard Calander too. I like the photos they have in it.

Please pardon three posts in a row, but this thread has been quiet of late.

IDW's latest comics: "Star Trek: Resurgence" Issue #4 and "Strange New Worlds: The Illyrian Enigma" Issue #3 (alternate cover which homages the iconic shot of Ilia in "Star Trek: The Motion Picture"). Pictured with the DVD of "Star Warp'd", a parody of SF classics in CGI and Claymation.

Continuing with my 80s Pocket Books oddities. Just nabbed this copy of My Enemy, My Ally with no title on the cover at all. The equipment completely failed to apply it. Without the title, you can just make out the darker black in the background that was intended to give the overlaying title its quasi-three-dimensional aspect with the normal lettering added:

Yes, that’s correct. Just get a free image hosting service such as Imgur, PostImage, etc., and then you can link the image from there. (Linked images from sites other than image hosting services are not allowed.)

Alternatively, premium members can upload images directly to the board.

A Song of Ice and Fire fans: Welcome to our world! ;)

I was a fan of the game of Thrones books, but I didn't like the last two books very much. So I prefer "The Dresden files" over "Game of Thrones" books

As you can see, apart from the newest Star Trek novel which I'm really looking forward to, I managed to snag the Polish translation of ST:Rebellion. Published in 1997.*

Wondering how ST tie-ins have not made any mark (translated) in Poland... Many people seem to be watching the shows, and some comics are translated, but I think the last novel came out in the 90s...

    * see below ;-)

So, based on the cover image, is that the translated version of Generations?

I would have assumed the title would be more appropriate for Insurrection, but that movie didn't come out until the end of 1998.

Oh boy, did I mess it up! The seller put up this book as published in 1997 and I grabbed it before checking any details; happy to have received it, I posted it here without properly inspecting it. But indeed, it is "Insurrection", and it was published in Polish in 2000, contrary to the seller's information.

My latest acquisitions: Space Checkers (as seen in TOS), 2 sketches for the derelict ship in episode 1 of TAS "Beyond the Farthest Star" which became derelict ships in "The Time Trap" and a custom made Star Trek Adventures dice holder that is shaped like a TNG era tricorder! Still need to paint that last one.

Wait, there's a Murf plush out?!

OK, I've Googled it, and all I'm finding is references to an exclusive one available at New York Comic Con. Is that where you got yours, or is it (hopefully!) available somewhere at retail? (And if not, why not?! )

Oh yes, sorry I got it from someone at NYCCC I should have moved everything to a table to take the photo! And I have no idea why there isn't any for sale. The people who make the show are confused. My guess is that the merger with Viacom is still causing some "Who's department is this?" confusion and it's slowed a lot of things down. It seems like that is finally getting resolved a bit.

I spent several weeks chasing one on eBay and eventually got him for a fairly sensible price. Yes, Comic Con exclusive. A few days later, he morphed into a new guise on the show! Grrrr. I preferred him as a youngling. I posted my plush previously:

Hey, Therin, did you notice your photo behind the bar in the holo-Ten Forward in this week's Picard episode, in the scene where Picard pours Jack a drink? It's the same shot as in your avatar, but more full-length and facing the other way. Therin finally made it to canon!
