Things that frustrate us all

When you see something really cool/interesting, but by the time you get your phone out it's over, or like in this case, it's an animal and when you stop and pull your phone out it gets scared and takes off. It's happened to me a bunch of times on bike rides and it drives me crazy.

Unfortunately, drinking a large glass of water before going to bed would mean that I'd be absolutely bursting by the time I woke up.
It's bad enough already, and I don't get up during the night because I have a rather large Galgo Espanol sleeping at my feet.
If I get up, she might think it's time for her to go out, and I'm not going back to the days of 4am walkies.
Better to get up to pee rather than pee then get up.

I didn't click on it to give them a view, but the front page of YouTube showed me a video from a channel called "Deceased Actors Hollywood." The actor in the thumbnail is most definitely not dead but the video has over 600k views in one day, so they got what they were after. I suspect the comment section is filled with people chewing them out, but they're just giving them what they want -- clicks.

One thing like that I see a lot is I'll get a random add for some click bait site saying you won't believe what this person looks like now, and they'll show a picture of this big overweight person, but then I'll look the person up on Wikipedia or somewhere else, and find a recent picture and they'll still just as thin and fit as they used to be.

They work really hard to find the shots that are the most unflattering possible.

Yup. I don't buy in to click bait any more and most articles are just garbage. It's infuriating to try and research anything now because you have to be very deliberate in your source choices and I end up down a rabbit hole of finding the picture rather than verifying the story!

Also, people are poor drivers. Commuting to work, with a little bit of snow barely sticking to the road and people come to a stand still on the freeway for no good reason...

No that's not it, they're a totally different person. The person will still be thin and fit, and the person in the ad will look like they weigh at least 300lbs or 400lbs, and looks nothing at all like them.
It drives me when people don't turn their turn signal on until they're already in the process of turning. The whole point of the turn signal is to tell you are about to turn!

I was referring to shots of celebrities.

For some products that are sold for skin, they'll use completely different lighting.

Turn signals are hard. So is merging apparently, based on my commute home today. Plus you know the whole law to get over if a car is disabled on the side of the road...

I've got a better one for you both, and it occurs daily in Miami.

On the rare occasion someone does turn on a turning signal, it's the opposite direction of where they are going.

Left signal on, they turn right. Right signal, they turn left.

How stupid can you be?

Maybe they’re thinking they’re on a boat or something? It is Miami… *Kidding*

Cheers,

Finally have the whole weekend off, and, if course, I wake up horribly I'll. I thought it was just bad allergies but I still feel awful and have a fever And it's the weekend, so my doctor's office is now closed.

Ugh. Just miserable. :(

Sorry. That kind of stuff seems to always happen right before the weekend for me too.

Got a scam text claiming there was a $1100 charge at a Walmart in my city and to reply if it's me or not me. There's no Walmart in my city. I wonder how often this works.
