Things that frustrate us all

^Drink more during the day, then. Also I sometimes get foot cramps because my flat feet haven't supported properly during the day.

I have the worst luck with food. Several times I have found a food that I absolutely love, and within a year it's discontinued.
A while back I found some Ritz Barbacue chis that I love, and when went shopping this morning, they were on a closeout sale. I'm hoping it's just that store that won't care them anymore, and not that they're going to stop making them altogether.

People who park in handicapped spaces without having the sign showing on the rearview mirror, or anywhere else for that matter. And even worse, went in going the wrong damned direction in a one way street!!!!

My wife and I were at a McDonald's earlier today, and I noticed someone do precisely that. This woman walked into the place from that car, with no indication of any kind of handicap whatsoever.

I have yet to see a person park in one of those spots that did not have a sign placed in plain view inside their car.

In other words, she parked illegally. Those spots are there for a reason.

(I always hated people who did that, but ever since my mom's work injury that prevents her from being about to walk and has needed to use those spots, my anger level when I see that ratchets up ten times.)

If it's these, they're still listed as an active item on the website.

If your store was selling them on a closeout, it's almost certainly because they weren't moving enough inventory and would prefer to use the shelf real estate for something that will drive more revenue (or their inventory was nearing its sell-by date). My local Hy-Vee does this all the time, especially with the frozen section.

I know of people who have such registration signage and leave it at home from time to time. Could be accidental, could be deliberate, and I have been disinclined to ask which. Possibly, that's a topic for such people who may also be lurking here to vent about their own reasons for doing so as an active choice, but it's not for me to push them into it.

That's them.
I hope so, but there have been a few things that have disappeared from every single store that I've checked, including online stores, that are still listed on the company's website.
The Wal-Mart we go to also has them, so hopefully if they are still being made, they'll keep carrying them.

Just as an example, in the city in Iowa I live in, there are three Hy-Vee locations. The last time I lived here (2002 - 2010), all three stores carried my favorite frozen pizza brand, Home Run Inn.

Now that I moved back almost two years ago, only one of them--ironically, the one on the other side of the city, inaccessible to me since I can't drive due to disability--carries Home Run Inn. But it's still the most popular boxed frozen pizza brand in the Iowa / Wisconsin / Illinois region. They just simply didn't sell at the two other stores, and the store managers decided to buy product that does sell.

(Oddly enough, the Walgreens that's about a 15-minute walk from my apartment carries them ... but like fuck if I'm walking 30 minutes on two bad legs and a broken back for a frozen pizza. But clearly they move enough stock there to keep them in inventory.)

The plackards easily fit in a glove compartment, which is what my mom does. Can't forget it if it's in the car at all times.

Besides, the woman I saw did not have any clear disabilities.

I agree... which is why those plackards exist. And why you put them up so you can use those spots.

And even with that aside, she went in the OPPOSITE direction of very clearly marked arrows in the lot to park. That is not only dangerous, but illegal. It also gives the impression that the rules don't apply to that person, and I cannot stand people who have that entitlement/snobbish trait.

I just finally tried a Home Run Inn frozen pizza last week. It was really good but kind of expensive for frozen ($10.99). Luckily the store had a buy one, get one free sale. It's the only frozen pizza in my neck of the woods that has sausage pizza (my favorite). There's a bunch that have sausage/pepperoni combo but it's not as good.

I checked out Amazon for you but it's really expensive. 139 bucks for 4 and $13 delivery.

*HUGS*

I'm guessing this is perimenopause? It sucks, but there are things you can do to keep from smashing.
The lead-up to that time of the month can really mess with my system. And yesterday was more emotional that I initially thought it would be. Couple that with a hormone and stress migraine on Saturday and you have borderline-Hulky Peach.
