Changeling-faction stealing Badgey/Peanut Hamper Lore + Moriarty at Daystrom because they need them for something TBD in order to help them destroy Starfleet/solids...
(* still think it's possible Lore/Moriarty, one or both eventually change sides and actually help btw.)

Vadic's crew and likely also herself are DS9/Section31 virus-infected/affected changelings.
Don't remember the details of the virus/effects, but it would explain their faces/masks and dim lights + they way the intruders were "pulverized" when destroyed by rifle-Crusher is a hint, now that we've seen the Worf/Raffi terminating one.

  • Why is Vadik after Jack Crusher/Picard? "JL" didn't know he had a son, so that can't have been the plan to get him involved for revenge.
  • Who is Vadik and why does it seem personal revenge to her?
  • Is Vadik a tool or the leader?
  • Can we expect DS9 people to show up now?, after Oddo (RIP Rene Auberjonois) got a mention. Afterall the Dominion War was primarily on their series.
  • "nebula" is the these changelings-factions-new-great-link

So, we know that the Changelings were stealing something from Daystrom Station. I'm wondering if this is where Lore was being kept, and that's how he's going to get involved in the season? Lore hardly seems dangerous enough all by himself to be a weapon to bring about the total downfall of the Federation though.

Also wondering who we'll meet at Daystrom Station? I've heard rumors there will be a DS9 cameo (or major reference) next week.

What do you wanna bet Lore has a copy of Data's consciousness stored inside him that ultimately saves the day? Like Neo emerging from Mr Smith.

How's that for wild speculation?

If it is Lore that's the other "weapon", he somehow ends up on the Titan in a kind-of uniform with a comm badge.

I wonder how late on some of the clips in the trailers we've seen are? Scenes like Lore on the Titan, Riker and Worf beaming out from the Titan, the TNG crew in the conference room, all must be much later on, especially if Sirtis isn't thought to be in the first 6 episodes much.

Remember everyone assumed the trailers for S2 were made up of clips from early episodes, but it had the scene with Jay Karnes which didn't end up appearing until the 8th episode.

My wild speculation?

Lore isn't the weapon, but the Titan ends up going to the Daystrom facility, where they meet up with Worf and Raffi, and find Lore, who they reactivate for some reason. They also encounter Moriarty who is stored there. If the visit to Daystrom ties in with the unannounced legacy character returning, you could be talking Barclay, or maybe even the EMH, in charge of the facility.

They don't meet Geordi till after that, based on the "Riker, Worf, you brought them into this too?" exchange in one of the trailers (unless it's trailer editing trickery).

And yeah, I think "Lore" will end up being some Lore/Data hybrid of some kind.

Interesting

is it bad/weird that now we've had three episodes and I almost feel I can look at the trailers and put together how certain events play out - characters A and B go there so therefore C must happen (even though I don't know how the heck the previous cliffhanger is resolved!)

The shot of Lore from the trailer, the door he is standing behind (with the glass panel), looks very similar to the door in Engineering where Seven and Jack were this week.

It could just be a re-use of the same prop, it's all Starfleet design after all, or maybe he does come aboard the Titan.

^
There's also shots in various trailers of Lore in the Titan's Observation Lounge, and what appears to be sickbay with the main bio-bed removed.

I like this. Could it also be ... Doctor Bashir, I presume? He'd know a heck of a lot about Changelings...

Just skimming the trailers, this is the major stuff I caught that we haven't seen yet:

NYCC trailer
-Worf and Riker beaming out of the Titan while Worf says he prepares pacifism and Riker replies we're all gonna die. Riker is in a different uniform than the one he's wearing we're at in the show now.
-Geordi in front of Picard saying "you roped Riker and Worf into this too"
-some scene of Picard in the captain's chair with Beverly standing behind him
-Vadic walking around some ship
-Deanna telling Riker "there's a darkness on this ship"
-the museum stuff and the ships there
-Deanna on some ship looking at an explosion
-Vadic giving a speech on her ship
-Lore with Geordi and then Moriarty
-Geordi and Deanna on the Titan

Official trailer
-Vadic and her goons in the hall of a ship
-Riker telling Picard "this is the end my friend". He's still in the Starfleet uniform he's in now on the show.
-Geordi onscreen at the Titan. You see Picard and you see Shaw back in the captain's chair.
-Worf, Raffi, and Riker with Moriarty
-The Titan going into the light in the next episode
-Geordi saying it's always life or death with Picard
-the Lore stuff- him on the Titan, him with Geordi
-all of the TNG crew (minus Lore/Data) together

This Season on Picard trailer
-Riker and Deanna on the shrike arguing
-Lore being beamed onto the Titan sickbay
-Geordi and his daughter
-Riker saying "we should bold get the hell out of here"

Final Voyage promo
-Worf walking on the Titan with Seven and Raffi behind him
-Picard, Beverly, Jack, and Sidney lining up holding phasers on someone
-Deanna alone looking upset on the shrike
-Picard giving a speech in a voiceover
-more museum stuff
-Beverly and Picard looking at each other in the light thing from next episode

Some of that from the trailers is obviously from the next episode and I imagine most that is in 4, 5, and 6 too. I definitely think that scene of them all together is from later in the season.

I saw a comment from a reviewer Geordi and Lore come into the first six episodes "very late" so I'm not sure they're around till the 5th or maybe at the end of the next one. I feel like most of the Geordi stuff in the trailers probably happens pretty soon after he shows up. Same with Lore. There was another review that said Deanna gets two big scenes in the next three, but not much else. I guess that's probably those scenes of her alone on the shrike and looking at whatever explosion she's seeing when she's alone in the hallway.

There's also whatever cameos happen in the next few episodes. I know people said 5 definitely has one, and I think people said 4 does too. Plus Moriarty's appearance.
