And the Next Cancelled Show is...

Good riddance. It's not the same as his show but his two episodes on Doctor Who are among the very few of the modern run I'll never watch again simply because of him.

I can't believe that they're bringing back @Midnight without Chris Hardwick. :scream:

But seriously, much as I liked Hardwick, the format is great regardless of the host. Thomas Lennon was originally intended to host, and I could easily picture him doing so in the revival. Paul F. Thompkins, Ron Funches, there are several names springing to mind. Wil Wheaton would actually be a perfect replacement.

Also, maybe Twitter will become a better place for the return of the Hashtag Wars. And then, Elon's gonna put a stop to them.

You, uh, might want to do a little research into Hardwick's personal life.
I googled the old stuff, which was 2018, for which there was an investigation, and he was found innocent by AMC, and Hardwick was given his TV shows back.

Is there new bad stuff, or were they wrong about him being innocent in 2018?

All charges were dropped.
He was found innocent, as the woman in question was trying to get back at him, after he broke it off with her and then, a few years later, married someone else. That's why he was re-hired back to his job at Walking Dead. He was found to be completely innocent.

Almost definitely absolutely innocent, however...

That link you gave me is an advert from a law firm who wants to defend accused sex pests.

A law firm that had NOTHING to do with Hardswick's defense, since he was accused in the court of public opinion, not a court of law.

Jesus.

While I think he's unfunny and, based on him apparently trying to lower how much he has to pay his writers, a giant prick, I absolutely love his Doctor Who episodes. I legitimately didn't get why people hated him so much when the Corden hate started going mainstream because of how much I enjoy those episodes. As it is, at this point I do think he's an unfunny asshole, but I still enjoy those two episodes.

One of the things I liked about Cordin is that, much like Graham Norton and Johnny Carson, he would bring out his guests and have them all sit there on the couch and interact with each other, which would lead to some good stories.

The "investigation" was done by a firm owned by the Hearst family.

Yeah, that Hearst family. The family who are masters of making inconvenient things just go away.
