I'm surprised Big Finish have never tried to bring that companion into their 10th Doctor audios. They're somehow making a whole series with Cass from Night of the Doctor who dies a couple of minutes after meeting the Doctor...

The Gervaise one has only two arms, and not the more rigid back plates- he's more Gastropod than the new thing, and the plates are more Tractator... Of course I'd expect the new thing to be actually a new thing, though I could see RTD pulling a "related/from the same system as...." like how the Ood-Sphere and Sense-Sphere are supposed to be neighbours.

"Sex Education" is doing some extra shooting currently, after finishing in November, so it's possible he's had to go back and they're doing all the scenes that don't need him for. If that is the case will they have to do a Henry Cavill on his mustache?

The mustache is a lie! I feel so betrayed.
But yeah, people who were talking to crew members yesterday got confirmation that he's not currently shooting the series he's supposed to be starring in.
I can hardly wait to see this. I haven't watched Doctor Who like 3 years now; and with Tennant returning as the 14th Doctor, I wonder his limited tenure will bring forth the 15th Doctor?
