I always get William Gibson confused with Neal Stephenson, and, now that I think about it, I haven't actually read any William Gibson books. But they've always sounded like something I'd enjoy (I like Neal Stephenson books!) and this looks like something I could enjoy. I mean, it looks pretty similar to various other things, but that's not always a bad thing. Nolan and Joy being invovled could give some people pasue, but the first season of Westworld was great so maybe the first season at least of this will be great.

I don't know how I missed this, but count me pumped.

It looks like my favorite character, Ash, is being played by Katie Leung, who if I'm not mistaken was Cho Chang in "Harry Potter!" I really hope she keeps her moving animal tattoos and Victorian Gothic fashion. And her 88 eyes.

I also hope they include the primitive "peripheral" that the future-characters use to talk into the past. (I think it was an Iphone on a stick on a romote-controlled toy car, or something. I need to reread the book.)

Thanks for alerting me to this news!

I enjoyed the first episode. It felt like a good first couple of chapters of a science fiction novel. Acting was good especially from Chloe Grace Moretz and it looked nice. Then when it was finished...I found out the second episodes is up too! Which I'll watch in the next couple of days because I didn't have time tonight.

Well her brother and his friends are all ex-military themselves and have some kind of cybernetic enhancements, don't they?

Second episode was good too; it's a good show!

I haven’t seen any buzz on this show other than advertising but so far based on a couple posters here it seems like something to get into. I’m looking for a mind bending sci fi show like The Expanse. Im taking a break from superheroes.

It is genuinely hilarious that the ruthless corporate mercenaries ready to massacre an innocent family come across a bunch of ex-Special Forces soldiers having a party with their friend.

I don't think the town gangster is going to fare any better, and will probably join the previous corporate mercenaries in episode 3. It's good they have a mini-excavator on hand, it's probably going to get a lot of use.

Episode 3: I thought the opening scene was a bit silly and over the top. He just murdered all those bikers in broad daylight? None of them had a phone? Nobody drove by? Then literally CRUCIFYING them made him a too over the top evil for me. Though on the other hand, I had absolutely no problem with Future Evil Woman killing the scientist using bees, that was fun.

This is my new favorite show......wish I hadn't started it it until I could binge it all at once.......through the first 3 episodes I'm really having fun with it.

That was 20 years ago in the past.

2010?

The little boy was his adult nephew in the rest of the episode.

Yes, I think it said 2015 on screen. I think it was hard to get away with public crucifixion in 2015. I never tried though.
Did Rosco ever arrest Boss Hogg?

In real life. If the crime stays in a corrupt county, it won't be investigated if the county 'boss' does it. The real life example was both a book and a TV movie in the early 1980s.

The only way the boss was caught was he committed one of his murders in an adjacent county, where the sheriff wasn't under his control.
